Chapter 52
We trained for a couple more hours. I returned to our rooms to wash and write a letter to my father. After I had composed my letter and gotten it to a messenger I decided to see how Ann and Diana were settling in. Diana was in an outbuilding with Rohl near the infirmary. It was actually a rather large cottage that had surprisingly nice furnishings. Ann was already there when I arrived and it looked like they were having tea. “Oh Sylvia!” Ann exclaimed when Diana opened the door for me. She jumped up from the table and ran over to give me a hug. Diana invited me in happily. We sat around the table and chatted.
