Remembering Him

Chapter Two

Cassie's POV

Uh oh!

I wiped my running nose and looked up and I was met with grey orbs staring right back at me reminding me of a past memory.

I was shaken out of my reverie when the handsome stranger started speaking and man was it hot.

"Um are you okay?" he asked

"Uh-I um. We're fine just waiting the rain to pass." replied quickly

"Are you sure because you don't look fine?" He says while pointing to our soaked clothes.

"Cassie stop talking to him. Mummy told us not to speak to strangers." said Stephen while hiding behind me.

"Hey, It's okay bud. He's trying to help" I said while glancing at him behind back.

"I think," I added while turning to the stranger with a questioning gaze.

"You can leave now we're fine." I said and then started sneezing again.

"You don't look fine" he replied with a concerned look

"Well no one asked you captain obvious." I snapped at him while wiping my runny nose, I sighed

"I'm sorry okay, I'm just really frustrated right now." I wiped my nose

"It's fine, no harm was done. Here take this." he says while handing me his umbrella.

"Um, what about you?" I asked him holding his umbrella.

"You two need it more than I do." he said and left in the rain but not before giving us one last look past his shoulders.

He is really mysterious and got a dark look going on for him. I hope I don't bump into him again.

When we reached home no one was there yet. So I quickly pulled my brother out his slightly wet clothes and ran a hot bath for him. After that he went to sleep since it was late.

I took a quick shower and ate the food mum left for us.

I was watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory, when I heard the front door opened mom and Reid came in.

"Hi honey, sorry we got held up by the weather." she said while heading in the kitchen.

"Sure it's okay mom, I'm going to sleep now Stephen's already in bed." I said while heading for the stairs.

"Sure sweetie goodnight" she replied kissing my forehead.

I went to sleep that night with a certain grey eyed boy on my mind.

I was walking through the school halls this morning with a running nose while sneezing non stop. I was looking after Stephen last night that I forgot about myself.

"Morning Cassie, Wow you look like shit." said Viv as I neared my lockers

"Thanks, you're so comforting." I replied sarcastically, wiping my runny nose.

"So guys, there's a party this Saturday at Mitchell's house wanna come? I heard it's going to be fun!" said Viv, bouncing up and down.

"Viv you know we don't do parties. Why don't we have a sleepover instead?" Alex suggested

"Boringggg, but if the two of you want to sleep over, I guess we can go another time."

"Well, I heard we're getting new students." said Alex

"Really, but we rarely get new kids."

"I dunno, I wonder if there's any hot guys." said Viv with a sudden excitement, her eyes wide open you can literally see little hearts in them.

"That's all you think about, boys." Alex rolled her brown eyes.

"Let's go to class we're going to be late." I tell them and we each parted ways to our next classes.

"Okay class, today we're going to paint something that we think reflects our life." said my art teacher Mr Robin.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, inhaling the smell of paint and dust. After a few seconds of thinking my green painted brush touched the white canvas and my hand just moved effortlessly by itself. The brush moved up and down, swiping across each other, painting a willow tree.

I was so into my work that I didn't notice the door opening and a guy came in and went to the teachers table.

"Listen up class. We have a new student. Would you like to introduce yourself?" the teacher asked the boy.

He shook his head no. He was wearing a beanie some of his brown hair falling over his two colored eyes. Wow, how didn't I notice that. He is really tall about 6'1 and muscular, he's really handsome. I see the girls think that too because they're ogling him.

He went to seat at the back of the class and started doing his work. While the class started murmuring about the new kid.

I went to the cafeteria and sat to my usual table with Viv and Alex.

"So did you see the new guys?" Viv asked with a creepy a*s smile on her face

"Guys, you mean there's more than one?" Alex replied looking at Viv confused

"I heard there's three and I saw one of them in my math class today. He was cute with his dimpled smile but he has a shitty personality." replied Viv distastefully

"Are you sure? You have just met them you don't know how they really are." I said as I ate my fries.

"Hey guys" said Matt as he sat down

"Hey Matt," we said and went back to eating.

We were all talking and fooling around as usual when suddenly the cafeteria was quiet. I was wondering why until I saw three handsome guys entering the café. Wow, dramatic much. They must be the new guys.

They're all dressed casually the first boy that walked in had blond hair and seems like blue eyes too. He was about 6'1 and slightly muscular. What's up with these guys having to be so tall.

The second one was the guy in my art class. The last one that entered caught my breath and I was shocked to see him. It was the guy from last night. I saw him survey the room until his grey eyes rested on me for a few seconds and then to Matt. I saw Matt rolled his eyes, weird.

They moved across the room sat on an empty table in the corner. Murmurs broke out, my guess about the new students. Their first day of school and they already caught the attention of the whole population of the school, great. Note the sarcasm

They scream trouble, I'm making sure to stay clear off from them. Well after I thank the grey eyed guy for last night that is, and did I mention how hot he is. I think I did but damn.
