You are mine Julianna, mine to f**k, mine to hate, mine to love, no one can take you away from me. Your love….. your love is like diamond Juliana, rare and precious but mine will be the one to drawn you…hahahahah…..

I listened to his words and could not hold back my tears, but I knew tears at this point was useless to me.

I thought having a second chance at life would help me take revenge on those who hurt me, make amends on those I hurt in the past, but no…..mine was a very different and twisted story.

I am Julianna Kenedict and this is my story.

Chapter one
«5:30PM, Tuesday, 10/06/2026. LOVELYN HOSPITAL.» I stared blankly at the large room. Nobody was here to even accompany me home after staying in the hospital for three months due to stomach cancer. As I stood up walking to the door, my eyes felt dizzy, and I supported myself using the door handle. I could feel the liquid running down my nose. I was at the edge of breaking down in tears but I smiled, cleaning the blood with my handkerchief as I walked out. I was expecting to see my fiancé in front of the hospital or my best friend Kira, but none of them were there to pick me up, but I didn’t mind, as I flagged down a cab to take me back home. “Am sure there is a reason for that. They would not just abandon me in the hospital, perhaps they are not even aware I'll be leaving today,” I thought. I am Juliana Kenedict, the eldest daughter of Kenedict's family and the heir to my parent’s company. After their unexpected death, I took over everything and transferred it to my love, my heartbeat, my everything, Collins, after finding out I had stomach cancer. Now, my stomach cancer was getting worse, and I was supposed to get surgery today, but surprisingly, I was discharged out of the hospital because no one has been paying for my hospital bills for the last two months, and he was yet to pay for my surgery. I could not believe anything the doctor said, there must have been a mistake somewhere, I had argued. Collins would never forget something as important as that, but, alas, there was no record of him paying for my surgery. “I'm sure the fault is from the accountant," I said. "Collins will fix it once he is aware of it,” I told the doctor confidently. I called Collins twice and for some reason he did not pick up. “Collins is always overworking himself, he works even on the weekend, I'm sure he is attending one meeting or the other,” I said to myself, waving down a cab. I got inside the cab and told the cab driver my address, before he drove off. Getting to the mansion, he stopped in front of the gate. I smiled, got down and walked towards the entrance. As I walked inside, I suddenly felt reluctant. It was as though something bad would happen to me if I went in. At first, I stood at the door, scared. “Oh Julianna, stop being paranoid, what could possibly harm you in your own house?” I thought. I went in ignoring my emotions, and as I got in, I noticed the rough sitting room and that made me frown. Collins knows how much I loved my sitting room being tidied and neat, I said, picking up the pillows on the ground and setting some things straight. I could not wait to see Collins, I need him to explain what exactly is going on. Just as I finished picking up everything on the floor, I heard a voice coming from upstairs. It was sounding familiar, so I tiptoed upstairs, making sure not to make a noise. I stopped close to the ante room upstairs. “God,, I so much hate her guts and the way she was too controlling about everything.” That was one voice I could recognize everywhere, Kira, my best friend. “Now she’ll soon be gone, just a few months, and she’ll be dead, then we can openly be together.” That was another voice I could never mistake, Collins, my fiancé. “ I can not believe she actually thinks you love her. Kira said, laughing. “I have never seen someone as gullible as your friend,” Collins said, laughing too. “Get out Collins, whose friend she is. Julianna has never been my friend, I have always seen her as a loser who just happens to have everything at her disposal," Kira said. I staggered back in shock as I heard that statement. Unable to balance myself, I fell down some important antiques. My breath was increasing rapidly, and I held onto the table beside me to support myself. They quickly disengaged from themselves and Kira stood up, covering herself up with a duvet. Collins was left on his trousers. “You guys disgust me so much, I mean what do you think you are doing, huh?” I screamed. Kira sighed before reaching out for her clothes. She put on the top and let go of the duvet. She did not feel remorseful at all, and she was staring at me. She reached down to clean the tears that were coming out of my face while I just watched her before pushing her off. “Oh poor Juliana, do you remember when I asked you once if I told you to give me something very important to you, will you do it without hesitating.” She asked. I knew I had told her yes, but that was because it was supposed to be a game, and it meant nothing, or so I thought. She had her own fiancée, so why would she come to mine? “How could you be so wicked, Kira, I did nothing but trust you.” “Hey there, lover girl, do not call me names. Besides, I don’t think you are supposed to be screaming or crying right now, or don’t you think so, Collins?” I raised my hand and slapped her hard. She glared at me in shock at first but later smiled. “So as I was saying, you should not scream or cry, because it will fasten up your death which will be good for us, of course.” She said, laughing. “What did I ever do wrong to you, Collins? What did I do? I’ve loved and cherished you every single day, even when you wronged me, I just turned blind to it. Your toxic traits, the way you do things, I have never stopped loving you.” I cried in immense pain. “I had divorced Davis because of you. I sued him in court for killing our son because you asked me to. Even when he transferred all his property to me, I transferred everything back to you because I loved you, so why?” Even if someone will betray me, I would have begged it shouldn’t be these two. Kira might be a pain in the ass, but I still loved her so much. She does have a way of getting into me anytime she wrongs me and her persistence in always pursuing what she wanted made me love her a lot so that I announced to everyone that she was my long-lost sister. “But I just did not want to believe what I saw and heard. This is a hallucination, it’s too vague to believe.” I said, suddenly feeling faint and out of air. I ran to Collins, holding his hand tightly, hoping I'd wake up from this dream. But I was not dreaming, my tears were slowly flowing down. He pushed me off roughly like I was a plague, which made me fall down to the ground hurting my knees in the process, “Ouch.” I winced. “Why would you think of it as a hallucination, like are you that dumb enough to keep losing your mind every second? That is why I chose Kira over you? She’s so smart and beautiful.” “I mean who wouldn’t love a damsel like her.” He pecked her lips, and she leaned in on him, laughing. “But do you know why we kept it a secret for so long, to get both you and Davis property. Worst is, his son with you, sorry, your son with him, Liam was poisoned by us.” He laughed out, and I stood staring at both of them. My tears were flowing like a river, I was in pain, I could not hold myself. My son. Davis? “Oh yes, I have pretended to love your sorry self and lie low for years while tolerating your pathetic soul.” “Your presence irritates me a lot. I've tried to keep up with it for years, since we were dating, even after you divorced your husband. Since I had no choice but to get married to you, I just have to do it to earn your trust so you’ll sign the company over to my name, but you took so long, you fool.” “Why do you even need my company? You are rich enough, Collins, so why?” “Yea, I needed it to give to my love, Kira, and will you ignore the fact that my company was running on losses and on the verge of bankruptcy, I needed to surpass Davis, so I'd be among top billionaires and you were the only key to him, his only weakness.” My breathing started rising, with tears clouding my eyes. I could not explain what I was actually feeling. Was it anger, pain, emptiness, anxiety, or betrayal? I just felt numb. “ How long has this been going on?” I asked even though I hoped he would not answer. I shook my head hoping he wouldn’t say anything anymore, he was toying with my brain and emotion. “Simple. I have always known Kira since middle school. She approached you to become close enough for you to trust her. And I started dating her even before I met you and started dating your ugly self. ” Thinking the plan was long enough, and I was stupid not to even notice it at all till this very moment hurts. I felt irritated and threw up, looking at the floor, it was blood which made me more shocked. “We might as well finish what we started, I mean you are dying.” Kira said and they both laughed happily like they had won a trophy. “I’ll be sending you a gift.” Kira whispered into my ears before pushing me. I rolled down the stairs, my heart heavy, my eyes closing slowly. “You will regret this, I said, even though I didn't know how. I will make you pay, I swear on my son's life.” I closed my eyes and my mind went down memory lane. FLASHBACK “Help, help, help”! I screamed as I tried to raise my head above the water, but the pressure kept pulling me inside. I began to feel weak, too exhausted to cry for help, but then someone ran into the pull, dragging me out. Minutes later, I opened my eyes to a very handsome face. “Thank you,” I whispered. “Don't stress yourself," he said and carried me on his back to a nearby hospital. He stayed right by my side, even though he had stood on him for the hospital bill. I was only eighteen then, while Collins was way over twenty, and at that moment I knew I had found my soulmate. Collins and I became lovers. He was from a poor background, while I came from a very rich home. I remember stealing money from my father to pay for Collins' master's degree, and even giving him money for upkeep on several occasions. Everyone in school knew us as lovers. I met Kira just before graduating. She was always annoyed at everything and everyone. Worse is, when things did not go her way, she would go extra miles to make it her way, but to people out there, she’s an angel, and I was just a best friend who kept taking everything away from her, because I was much more brilliant and prettier and richer than her. On my 20th birthday,I got the shock of my life. My parents had arranged a marriage alliance with a billionaire tycoon, Davis Smith. I cried and begged my parents, telling them I was in love with Collins. Nothing I did convinced them, and I was determined to take the brunt on Davis. We got married, but I made sure no one except Kira and Collins knew about it. I destroyed all our wedding photos and videos, refused to bear his last name, insulted and embarrassed him even in front of his workers, and when i was pregnant with Liam, I told Davis, Collins was the biological father of my child. But the funny thing was, Davis never attacked me, never did he scream or berate me, he would often laugh and call me a child, which infuriated me the most. After Liam was born, I filed for a divorce, but Davis refused to sign. At that time, both my parents were dead and all their property was now mine. Collins and Kira supported me all through. They aided me in the divorce and everything I did. And when Kira told me Davis had poisoned my son, I believed and sued me to court. I got the divorce I wanted and half of his property. I was so excited that I would be with Collins with no one to stop me. END Of FLASHBACK I tried to get up when I perceived the smell of smoke. Oh God, Collins and Kira had set my mansion on fire. I knew there was nowhere to run to, I would not make it out alive. But then, I heard a voice calling my name. I turned and saw Davis outside the window, hitting it and shouting my name. “Please leave.” I cried, “I don't deserve your help.” I added. Suddenly I heard a gunshot and I raised my eyes at him. I saw him fall to the ground. I cried in pain, screaming for help. My voice became weak with each scream. “I’m sorry,” I whispered. The fire was spreading fast, and I started to choke. “Please, help me, give me another chance,” I said.
