My eyes lingered on the car's plate number as the other guard followed the Lexus out of the diner's parking lot. Numerous questions whirled inside my head. What was George talking about? He kept saying he knew something, but what? What exactly did he know? A sickening march started between my lungs, all of a sudden, I found it hard to breathe.
