The phone rang for two minutes and then the busy tone blared. "She didn't pick up," I said under my breath, feeling disappointed. However, I wasn't one to give up easily so I tried again. This time the call went directly to voice mail. C'est Anna Dupont, laissez-moi un message, said the recording. I groaned. Sighing, I tried again. It went to voicemail the second time. The third time.
