Emily Harper Rich golden sunlight streamed from the glass windows, spilling warmth on my skin while I lay in Rye's bed. I stirred, rousing myself from a restful night's sleep. Though I sat up in bed, my eyes were still closed, relishing the feeling of Rye's sheets wrapped around me. His smell greeted me in the air, wrapping me in comfort. I breathed deeply, inhaling the scent of him, and it made my heart skip beats. I let out a wistful sigh and pushed myself to open my eyes.
