Eyes are like lazers while she's looking at the male he hates the most— their school's basketball captain. "What's with the look?" Asher, Gabby's friend asked as soon as she realized that her friend is all pouty and eyes are almost closing from squinting towards the basketball team's captain. "Chill, it's just a game game, you know? Nothing serious, Gab" Yes, it is just a game where they will just have fun but can you blame Gabriela when the man he hates volunteer to start a game with a completely different sport that he is not that familiar with? 'God knows he's just trying to get under my shoes, again.' "I second the motion, Gabriela right here is just pure demonic" Gabriela scoffed. What a compliment, calling her 'demonic' is one of her 'I hope by any chance, someone will think of me as the bad guy in this universe' list. "Thanks Yoki, that's the biggest compliment I have ever get" "You're welcome so now, join the game because we need one more player" Yoki, her other friend demanded as she held her wrist to pull her towards the crowd in the middle of the court. "I don't wanna" Gabriela whines as she prevent her friend from pulling her any closer to crowded men and women. As soon as they reached them Yoki shouted "Go the rascal!" that made everybody laugh except for Gabriela. She just keep on rolling her eyes— of course, to one specific person. To Basty, the guy he hates the most that is currently staring at her with smirk on his face, checking her out from head to toe with matching eyebrows wiggle. 'f*****g weird' Gabriela thoughy before peeling off her glare at the tan male. "So!" Hannah, the volleyball women's captain yelled, raising her hand up high to get all of the players' attention. "Since we're already complete, this will be a fair and fun game between volleyball team and basketball team" Gabriela who is uninterested just rest her gaze at the tall tan male nearly five feet away from her. She's judging him from head to toe as if she's allowed to. Later on, Basty caught her staring at him so he immediately flashed his signature smirk just to give the latter pure irritation. Later on, the game finally started. The female team— of course— are leading, as expected since they are proffesionals. Mean while the male team are just enjoying their selves. "Mine!" Basty yelled with a bit crack on his voice that made all of the players laugh well, except for Gabriela that is so into the game, she's being competitive since Basty— her enemy is part of the game. Finally, the ball is on the female's side, first touch was received by Yoki, second touch by Asher, and finally the ball is near Gabriela. "Mine" she said loud enough for the other players around her to hear. She smirked on the tought to set a hard spike and the ball will expectedly hit on Basty's face so as soon as her palm touched the ball she knows she'll be the happiest after this. Gasps surrounded the school’s gymnasium. All eyes are on Basty when the volleyball hit directly on his face and then now eyes went at the one who spiked the ball earlier. She is now walking her way to the exit of this gym. “s**t, dude, are you okay?” Basty's friend, Julian, worriedly asked. Instead of answering, Basty just smiled at his friend. “I'm alright, the impact is not that hard” he said to not make his friends worry. “It looks like Gabriela has big problem with you. Your face is so red" Jian, his other friend, calmly said.
