The Plan Unveiled

729 Words
The college courtyard was buzzing with activity, but Rudra’s attention was entirely on his friends — Kabir, Aman, and Dev — who were practically rolling on the grass, trying to contain their laughter. Rudra’s eyes narrowed. “Why are you guys laughing? And why is she thanking you? What’s the catch?” Kabir leaned back, still chuckling. “Catch? Boss… it’s not a catch. Well… not really.” Aman grinned. “You remember yesterday when she came up to you boldly, fearless as ever? That wasn’t exactly spontaneous.” Rudra tilted his head, curiosity mixed with suspicion. “Go on.” How Aanya Approached Kabir began, unable to keep the smirk off his face: “So, here’s the thing. Usually, when girls want to meet you… they call their best friends. They plot, they plan, they hide behind someone else. But not Aanya.” Aman continued: “She walked straight up to us — me, Dev, and Kabir. Just like that. No hesitation. She said… she wanted to meet you. Plain and simple.” Dev added, still smiling: “And honestly, boss… we were touched. It’s rare for someone to come directly to us, knowing you’re Rudra Mehra — the legend, the unstoppable, the scary one… and still ask for help.” Kabir nodded. “So, we thought… why not help her? She seemed genuine, and you know… brave. And let’s be honest, it’s kind of refreshing. So we planned it out a little — made sure she had a proper chance to meet you, without anyone getting in the way.” Rudra’s jaw tightened slightly, trying to hide the fact that he was… impressed. “And you thought this was necessary?” > Aman (grinning): “Necessary? Totally. You should see the way she approached us — not scared, just… determined. We couldn’t resist.” 💡 The Friends’ Plan Kabir recounted the details, gesturing animatedly: “We figured out the perfect moment when you’d be in the garden alone. Dev kept an eye on the courtyard to make sure no one interrupted. Aman helped her time it so she wouldn’t be nervous. And I… well, I just made sure you didn’t notice anyone around before she got there.” Rudra crossed his arms, trying to act casual, but his mind was racing. She came straight to them… fearless… and they actually helped her? Dev shrugged. “All in all, boss, it was simple — but brilliant. And we got to witness it firsthand. Her courage… it’s rare.” Aman leaned back, smirking. “Plus, you have to admit, it was fun watching you squirm a little. That alone made it worth it.” Rudra groaned, shaking his head. “You guys are impossible.” 🌟 Rudra’s POV Rudra leaned against the wall, watching his friends laugh, replaying everything in his mind. She actually came straight to them… didn’t hide, didn’t hesitate, didn’t even flinch when she knew I could scare her off in a second… It was unsettling — in a good way. For the first time, someone had seen him for who he was and wasn’t intimidated. And these idiots actually helped her. Really? He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to stay indifferent. “Humph… fearless, huh?” 🌟 Aanya’s POV Meanwhile, Aanya sat nearby with Jiya, replaying the moment in her head. She had felt nervous before approaching, but something in her gut told her she could do this. The way Rudra’s friends had smiled, helped her, and then stepped back… it had made her feel bold, seen, and capable. This isn’t just about meeting him, she thought. It’s about showing him I’m not scared. That I see him differently than everyone else. Her heart still skipped a beat thinking about his reaction — the smirk, the slight twitch of his lips, the curiosity in his eyes. I can do this. I’ll keep going. I’ll get closer… 🌳 Moment Between the Two POVs Rudra’s eyes flicked toward her, almost involuntarily. He was irritated… yet fascinated. A part of him didn’t want to admit it, but this fearless girl was leaving a mark on him — a spark he hadn’t felt in years. Aanya’s mind, meanwhile, was racing with excitement. She knew the real fun was just beginning, and that this story — her story with Rudra — was going to be anything but ordinary.
