Hey guys, I hope you all have been enjoying the story so far. I really appreciate your support. Some of you may be aware of my current struggle with a scaphoid injury. In October 2019 I fell, I had broken the front half of the bone completely off, then fractured the rest in the middle. There were a whole bunch of other little fractures off the main one. My injury went unrecognized until March 2020.  Now a year later, two surgeries, some hardware, and 8 casts later, I’m still at the beginning of the road to recovery.  Writing had been and is a form of therapy for me. But right now, I am not able to write as much and as fast as I had been. I am currently in a full arm cast with a thumbstick. That means my arm is kept at a bent angle, unable to use it, and my thumb is casted in place, unable to use that, too. My ability to do simple tasks is extremely stunted. My own 7 year old daughter helps me with house hold chores and bathing. So long bouts of writing takes a lot of effort and is mainly done with my right hand. I’m having close calls with injuring my good hand from overuse, which means, I have to slow down on the amount of writing I do until I’m in a different cast. So, while I do what I can, I appreciate all of your understanding and patience. Thank you! KR Dyck
