Jade shuffled into her apartment and shut the door with relief. She dropped her purse and keys on the counter and made a beeline for her couch. She flopped down face first, kicking off her shoes after she was laying down. She didn’t think the day would ever end. She was horribly sleep deprived, so she kept making silly mistakes at work. Then she’d have to go back and fix them, so it took twice as long to complete any task. Then she couldn’t stop thinking about her nightmare, which would ramp up her anxiety and nausea. She knew she needed to call Lynn and set up an appointment with the counselor. That this is one of those events that would warrant a session. But she was so tired at the moment, she couldn’t even muster the energy to talk on the phone. She’ll call Lynn tomorrow she decided.
