Warm Comfort
Adam slowly pulled his car into Jake and Emmett’s driveway. He put it in park and turned to Jade. He reached for Jade, pulling her close for a deep kiss. Jade’s breath caught as her heart skittered along. She reached for and clung to Adam’s upper arms. All too soon, she felt, he broke their kiss, trailing small kisses along her jaw and neck. Then he paused with his face in her neck, holding her. After some time he sat back, holding her face in one of his hands. “I want to take you home. I want you in my arms. I know when we get there, we’ll go to bed, but we won’t be sleeping. God, I want you so bad.” He leaned forward burying his face in her neck again. “I want you, but I badly need to rest. I need to be rested so I can perform at work, and I want to be rested when I have you again,
