A man driving, squinted into the setting sun, as its last rays of light seem to burst over the horizon. He always felt like those rays were like desperation and the sun was giving one last effort before it died. His day at work was a typical day and he left the office at a reasonable time. Alisha had only texted him a few times during the day, and she wasn’t going to be off until later.
