Jade was sitting on the floor at Jake’s feet and Mitch was sitting on the couch with Jake. They had just about settled on something to watch when there was a quick knock at her apartment door.
Two guys walked in and made themselves immediately at home.
“What in the world?!” Jade exclaimed excitedly. She got up and quickly dashed to the men to give them hugs.
“I thought you guys had shifts tonight?”
Emmett said, “There was a mistake with the scheduling and a lot of us were double scheduled.”
“Something about a glitch in the software that they use for scheduling. We weren’t going to complain since it meant we got to come surprise you!” Adam said with grin, bending down to swoop Jade up for a full body hug.
“That’s awesome! Have you guys eaten?” She asked.
“No.” Emmett said.
