I stand beside my wolf, Talon, in front of my mother’s grave, staring at her name that’s engraved on the stone. The pain talon and I are feeling right now is so strong that we are howling into the night. We are both aware we are not in the real world but in a different realm, a separate world that exists for just Talon and I. In this world we are able to be in separate forms but in the real World, we are one. I’ve entered this alternate world just once and that was the moment I was cursed.
Suddenly, I feel a presence behind me, a presence so powerful that I don’t dare to look back. The moon goddess. She’s visiting me in my subconscious. Talon goes on his knees first before I follow suit.
