Leah’s POV
I hadn’t slept, I was tired and restless. I struggled to concentrate and hear what anyone was saying. Kai had taken me home and I was in the kitchen with mum and dad.
Words were coming out of their mouths, but nothing was sinking in.
Mum helped me to my room, and I lay on my bed, sobbing uncontrollably until I passed out asleep. Days had passed and I had barely left my room. Mum and dad would come by encourage me to eat, run me a bath and put fresh sheets on my bed.
It was all just motion. Nothing seemed real anymore.

I hadn’t heard from Kai since he dropped me off that morning. I don't know why I thought he would contact me. It was never anything more than s*x to him, and I was far to consumed in grief to think too much into it.
