Leah’s POV
When I left Jays tonight, I had never been more confused. I had finally let myself go, allowed myself to enjoy being with him. Put my concerns and my guard to one side and decided I owed it to us both to just let go and embrace him, embrace us.
I surprised myself at how much I gave him, but it felt right, I enjoyed taking a little control and being with him was so easy. He was a dream, good looking, cute, funny, smart, and kind.
Plus, the guy could cook! I mean, he had serious skills!
What there was not to like. Everyone in relationships had to compromise, just look at dad, I thought he comprised more than was humanly sane.
If time keeping was the only thing I had to comprise on, then I could live with that.
