“It’s easy to say he wants to help you kill his brother. Doesn’t mean he actually will.” I’m at the slumber party. Despite how much I wanted to stay in my room with Milo all day, to talk about his family and mine, to ask him the thousand questions I never got the chance to ask him, to kiss him—to do more than kiss him—I didn’t.
