Yuri’s POV
I scanned the arena—lifeless bodies strewn across the snow, blood staining the white ground, and the injured groaning in pain. Shackles which held Opal lay on snowy ground.
“Where’s Mac?” I demanded, turning to Emery.
“Alpha he,” she is unconscious.
“We need a doctor.” I said. He disappeared into another tent, searching. Moments later, the doctor rushed in, his wrinkled clothes disheveled, his eyes heavy with exhaustion. Without a word, he dropped to his knees and began tending to Emery’s wounds.
“I’m going to find Mac,” Drake said. “You stay here and look after them.”
“No… Don’t go alone. You could get hurt,” I whispered, fear tightening in my chest.
Drake turned back, his gaze steady. “Mac might need help. If I get there in time, maybe I can save him.”
