Senior Year Begins
I guess I can start by giving you the low down on my life. My name is Celly, and I'm 17 years old. I'll be 18 in three months. Starting at the beginning of my sophomore year in high school, I met this guy named Kent. We started dating shortly after meeting, and I fell hard. He was my first serious relationship, and I lost my innocence to him, which I regret every single day of my life.
I have two best friends who are more like my sisters than anything! Aubrey and Kristen. We've been friends since we all started PreK 4 together. All three of us are competitive dancers for a studio. We are like the three musketeers. We all have three different personalities, which surprisingly mesh extremely well. Aubrey is our red-headed beauty. Her personality doesn't match her hair, though. She's the quieter and shy one of us three. She's very soft-spoken, gentle, and sweet. Kristen.. She's the absolute and complete opposite of Aubrey. She's our blonde beauty. She's more on the louder side and is super confident. She doesn't mind having attention, and she also doesn't have a filter. She speaks her mind even when it's probably not the best time to. Then there is me. I am more of a good mixture of Aubrey and Kristen. As they would say, I'm the brunette beauty of the group, although my hair is more of a caramel color. I'm not too loud, just only when I need to be. I'm not as shy as Aubrey, but I still have a bit of shyness in me. Up until the last year, I used to be more confident in myself like Kristen, but Kent ruined that. Well, enough of the introductions, let's get onto the story..

Celly's POV:
I heard my alarm clock go off, but I definitely wasn't ready to get up. As excited as I am about starting my senior year with my best friends, I'm dreading seeing Kent. I haven't seen him since I finally broke up with him for good at the beginning of summer. Just as I started to doze back off to sleep, I heard my mom's voice from right outside my door. "Are you up, Celly? I made you your favorite breakfast!" I groaned. "Ughh.. Only because you said the magic word.. Breakfast.." She laughed at my comment, and I pulled myself out of bed and to the dining room.
As soon as the smell of breakfast hits my nose, I moan at how good it smells. I sit down and start stuffing my face. My leg starts bouncing, which means that the food is so dang good. "Mom, this breakfast is literally perfect." She laughed at me. "Well, good morning to you too! Are you ready for your first day of senior year?" I nod. "I'm so excited! I can't wait to pick the girls up and walk into school for the first time this year for the last time ever!" My mom smiles. "Are you sure you are going to be okay with seeing him?" For me to say my mom and I are close would be the understatement of the century. We're closer than just your normal mother, daughter relationship. We are all each other has since my father died. He was the love of my mom's life and the best father a girl could ask for. We were so close, and when he died, it destroyed both of us. When everything happened with Kent throughout our two year relationship, my mom was my rock, along with Aubrey and Kristen. Of course, I love having my friends there with me through tough times, but there's nothing like having your mom there to lean on. After quickly contemplating on what to say or how to answer her, I finally spoke. "I'll be fine, I promise. I'm completely done with him, and I'll also have Aubs and Kri there with me." My mom nodded, satisfied with my answer. "You better call me if something happens with that piece of sh*t and he aggravates you." I swear I love her so damn much! "You already know I will, mom!" She laughs, and I head off up to my room to get ready for school.
Just as I'm finished up getting ready, my phone rings with a two-way video call. I answered, and it's, of course, Aubs and Kri. Of course, Kri is the first one to speak. "Sup b*tch!" I can't help but laugh and shake my head at her. Aubs's cute voice comes right after. "Hey babes!" I smile at them and start talking. "Hey, hoes." We all giggle at each other. Aubrey starts, "So what are ya'll wearing?! Show me the fits!" Kristen faces her phone camera to the mirror and shows us her outfit. She's wearing black pleather leggings with a black shirt and a jean camouflage jacket. She paired it with black combat boot heels. Aubrey turns her phone camera around to the mirror, and she's wearing an adorable but casual deep green romper with some sandals. I turn my phone camera around to show them what I'm wearing. I have on a pair of blue jeans with a rip on the right upper thigh. I pair the jeans with a cute red body suit, and I make sure to grab a red flannel just in case I get cold. This time, Aubrey is the first one to speak up. "We look so damn good for our first day!" I nod and smile with the girls showing them I agree, but in reality, I'm not happy with myself. I haven't been for a long time. If I could, there are so many things I wish I could change about myself, but unfortunately, I don't have a fairy godmother to bibbidi-bobbidi-boo the living daylights out of me. I finally spoke up. "Alright, I'm about to leave my house! Be there soon!" We say our goodbyes, and I head downstairs, tell my mom bye, hop in my car, and head to pick up the girls.
