1-Foggy Day, Murder Day.
It is said that when you die, all the most important moments flash in front of your eyes right before you take your final breath.
If 19 year old Breana Keyes could live for another minute, she'd tell you it was all a load of bullshit. She saw nothing but the face of the man above her. Traore Johnson.
The weather was cold and foggy. Her bleeding head was still throbbing and her warm blood was beginning to get cold. She wondered if help was on its way.
It wasn't safe to drive in this kind of weather. Even if someone passed by, she'd pass out before they reach a medical help.
From the corner of her dying eyelids, she saw her 14 year old sister running over, probably to save her, which would definitely have been a futile attempt. She shook her head to discourage the girl as she struggled to breathe.
Traore Johnson, on the other hand recounted the events that had led them both to this very moment.
*It had started a few months ago. The forbidden affair between Breana and Traore. She had just clocked 19 and she was growing into a fine woman. She was one of the popular girls and she agreed for the thrill of dating an older man.
She was quite an adventurous girl. Dating the young boys her age seemed to be boring. All was going well between them until SHE came along.*
Traore looked down at what he had done and noticed that the girl's eyes weren't on him anymore. He turned to see a figure run away. He bent down to check the pulse of his former lover. There was nothing.
Nothing at all.
And that was it.
Breana was dead.

Breana's parents were shattered. Their baby girl was gone. The police did their investigation and couldn't find a definitive evidence to nab the murderer.
Kelly's testimony was thrown under the bus based on emotion and no conclusive proof tying Traore to the murder.
She was sure of what she had seen though. Her parents weren't exactly supportive either, they wanted to get over it. Everyone said she was just trying to blame somebody for the death of her sister which was understandable.
Her parents were advised to take her to a therapist so that she wouldn't get worse. Her school life suffered because of the incident and so did her dream life.

4 years later, when everyone had forgotten about the Breana's unsolved murder, Kelly vowed to get to the bottom line of case and make Traore Johnson pay.
Seemed like the fates answered are unspoken prayers because that spring break, they waltzed Tristan Johnson to his father's doorstep.
And Kelly vowed to herself that she'll do whatever it takes for Traore to feel her pain.
The pain of losing someone.
Someone he so dearly love.
