CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE
Despite the tension that existed between them ever since the block party, Chloe and Steven had managed to remain civil. Chloe was still excited and pleased over the fact that her insights and work—with Greene’s guidance—had helped to clear Danielle’s name. She was so excited about it that when she found Steven on the couch, looking over his emails, she had every intention of jumping him.
