HANSEL…
Princess Chloe took a seat and crossed her legs. She kept smiling at Osha whose face was twisted, revealing how annoyed she was.
“Don't worry. I will make sure he's well taken care of.” the princess stated and turned to me. “Could I have a seat?”
I nodded, signaling Osha to leave and she definitely did. I made sure she wasn't even in the corridor before I came back to the princess again.
But, I didn't want anything to do with the princess, especially when I recalled the hell she passed through the last time because of me.
“Hansel,” she mentioned, grinning at me. “Uhm, I wanted to be sure that you're well.”
I was actually expecting her to start from where Osha stopped, by asking where the cotton pad came from, but she wasn't talking about that.
“Early this morning, I got news that all the courtesans that the prince had claimed are dead.”
My knee buckled and I sat forcefully on the chair. “Who said so? When did such a thing begin?”
She looked worried, and so was I. If it was true, then it meant I was also going to die, huh? That can't be happening…never will I die.
“The thing is, I was haunted by the news because I heard my brother is also into men and must have claimed you all the time, seeing how possessive he is towards you.” She leaned closer, her palms on mine. “Hansel, I'm scared of losing you. I don't want you to get hurt.”
But who's spreading this fake lie that the prince does men? I hadn't witnessed it and it's been almost two months since I came here.
“Hansel.” Her voice pulled my attention. “Don't you have any idea? Then does it mean that the prince doesn't know either?”
What was I supposed to answer? If the prince knew and didn't tell me, then he just didn't want me to know about it. But I doubted he knew or I would have at least heard him discussing it with Lord Aldric.
“I learnt that you did not leave the prince's chamber for five days, so I was scared that it was the problem. Why not say something?” She shook my hands, tears burned at the corner of her eyes.
She was that caring, and I was her fellow woman. If I were truly a man, I wouldn't think twice to accept her feelings for me.
“The only thing I can do is to speak about it with the prince and be sure that it's true. I hope you don't get too bothered about it.” I told her and she nodded but still sighed in worry.
She tried holding her tears for quite some time but couldn't, and I ended up wiping her cheeks with the back of my palm.
“But, I wouldn't want you coming for me again, at least for your safety. The last time was so painful to watch, and I wouldn't want it to repeat itself.” I comforted her and she nodded and stood.
After I led her out, I returned to check on the cotton pad that Osha had seen. I took it and kept it safe like the others, cussing at myself on how I didn't realise it had slipped from the others when I was arranging them in the morning.
I went straight to meet the prince, and with the look on his face, I realised that the news had already reached him.
He sniffed around me and his facial expression turned cold. I didn't let him ask, but began my confession, “She only came to be sure that I was safe since everyone thinks you're claiming a man. Nothing else.”
His Adam's apple bobbled and then he pulled me closer, closing the distance between us. “You're the only one left.”
My heart skipped a beat.
I was the only one left and he was telling me like it was nothing? What if I just took my last breath in his arms?
And his possessiveness, everyone had seen it and would believe that he definitely was into men since I was seen as one.
He bit his lips, looking back at me, “But you're not gonna die, okay?”
I nodded, even though less blinkered about what he meant.
“You just do not have to leave my sight, until I find out what's taking their life.”
I rolled my eyes. I hadn't left his side, so why would I do that now?
“But, do you mean that they aren't dying just because you…
“No!” he let go of me and faced Lord Aldric who had been standing behind, busy flipping the scrolls on his table. “Someone or something is after them, and I must find out what is going on.”
“Since Hansel showed up, you rarely take in courtesans. Which means, they are just after the women you had gone intimate with.” Lord Aldric added and raised his face. “I wonder what whoever or whatever it is is after. I don't get why these issues are popping up recently.”
I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat. It can't be after I showed up that all those began right? Then I'd be doomed, because he'd definitely want me out of his side if I were the cause.
“How will you track it? I will go ahead to find out if the ladies have a particular time they die, or if there's a particular source that takes their life, like sickness or anything. Another thing is, the result of their bodies before and after their death, I believe that with all those, it would make it easier before it reaches the king.” Lord Aldric stated seriously like he had studied all through for that.
The prince glanced at me and said, “My father won't dare chip in on this matter. Maybe my mother would try, but I won't let her.”
“I will leave now.” Lord Aldric bowed to him and made use of the door.
He stood immobile, staring at the floor for what felt like eternity before he finally turned to face me.
Panic mixed with my blood, and I was sure one would see how dreadful I felt at that moment.
He walked towards me and rubbed his palm on my hair, "I warned you not to deceive my family, especially Chloe.”
“I didn't. She came for me, and I told her not to do it again.” I didn't have to wait but defend myself.
“I see.” he rubbed his thumb on my lips and I swallowed hard. “There are so many reasons why you can't die, or I should be the first to crave your soul.”
I locked eyes with him and my body hair stood.
“Scared, but flushing?” he scoffed and patted my cheek. “Do you still not have any of your memories?”
I shook my head, ‘And I do not need them any longer.’ I thought to myself.
“The full moon is around the corner. We'll see what you got, because every paranormal being is affected by the full moon anyway.”
Just hearing that made fear grip me more. What would happen that day? Would I transform into whatever specie I was? I was clearly not a human and I could feel it…
I wanted to ask him about how many paranormal beings lived on earth when he leaned towards my face. He kissed me deeply on the lips once and then pulled back.
Oh gods, my belly rumbled.
“If you're going to die, then there's something I must do,” he whispered, and before I could even ask my question, I was lying on his bed.
I glanced around. What was he intending to do?
From what I know, he wouldn't ask for my permission if he wanted to claim me.
He reached his bed and began losing his robes, his eyes pinned on me. I saw how possessive they were, how dominating, and the aura that surrounded him.
I expected him to command me to strip, but he began doing that to me until I was half naked like he was.
He widened my legs, pulled out my inner pants, and a fresh breeze hit my pùssy hard.
Lust rose to my chest but I pinned it down. I didn't have to feel anything until he commanded me to.
He made me lie on the bed, facing the rooftop, and then he made himself comfortable between my thighs.
I clenched my palms together, eyes shut…When I felt his tongue rolling from one end to another on my c**t. I struggled to hold my breath, not to scream out with the way I felt…
But I didn't realise when I pulled my hands from the bedcover and held onto his head.
Oh gods! It felt so excellent…the way he ate up my cunt with his lips, his arms gripped my legs tighter.
He rubbed his thumb at the tip of my pùssy while suckling hard on my flesh.
Fuck! So this was what he wanted to do? I loved it so much…the feeling was out of this world.
I lost my strength and only wished he wouldn't stop.
I gasped repeatedly, holding onto his head.
My c**t throbbed so fast and he sucked with utmost vigor.
When contraction slammed my lower belly, I couldn't hold it in. I tried to suppress the moans but they betrayed me. My voice rose as I cried for more, my whole body trembling.
