***Zachary's POV.*** "Zac, will you come back here, I am not done with you yet!" "But I am done. Who the f**k do you even think you are to tell me how to live my life?" "I am your father and you will give me that respect." "Father huh?. OH  yeah, I forgot you are the father of the year."  I said sarcastically looking at the man who abandoned my mum when she was just three months pregnant with me. "First of all,I am not your son. I never was and never will be. Just understand you were just a sperm donor." "Zac!" mum called out, landing a slap on my right cheek. "How dare you talk to your father this way." "Don't you get it Mum? He is not my father and I don't want him talking to me like he is. Come on mum, have you forgotten so soon what he did to you? he left you for your best friend when he knew very well you were pregnant." "No baby I haven't, but that doesn't change the fact that he begot you." "That isn't enough to make him my dad." "What else do you want?! Yeah he was not around but he took responsibility of  you. He paid your fees and made sure you lacked nothing."  "That didn't work mum, because I lacked a lot. Look at me, do you think I am happy about the person I have become? Do you think I love getting arrested and doing community services?"I shouted irritated at my mum's naivety. "Everything would have been different if he..... was here. You keep comparing me to Leo but don't forget he has his dad around. I don't know who you are anymore mum,for the first time in my life you raised your hand on me." "I-I-I-I am s-so-sorry baby I didn't mean to." she pleaded realizing what she had just done.  "It was not my intention to make you feel like Leo is better than you." "But that's what you did. I am not surprised that you took his side. No body cares about me anyways." I uttered silently, making my way out through the door, her voice fading which each step I took. I could hear her calling me amidst sobs with my supposed dad telling her to give me my space. I wish that would be what he does himself because I hate him evading my space. Just when I was about to get into the driver's seat of my car, my phone rang and the screen indicated that it was George, a colleague in the mafia. "Hey Boss, the Big boss wants to see you right away." "Do you know what he wants?" "No I don't but he says it's urgent." "Okay I am on my way." I accelerated my car, driving in the direction of the Matrix. I joined the mafia when I was just ten years old.It was Boris, My mum's then Boyfriend who introduced me into it. He is a very powerful ,wealthy,influential man and the leader of the group. Adopting me as his son in the mafia automatically made him my mentor and me the next leader of the group. I am known as Carlos Nikolai, the second in command . It hadn't been easy gaining that rank. I had to kill, kidnap,r**e, torture and sell drugs and my experiences made me heartless and fearless. No one dared to go against my command because doing so meant death. I took a U turn that leads to the Matrix, hidden far away from town. The matrix is an empire Boris built to house his members and harlots. It's like our own city and my hideout from reality. It consists of a casino, prison, ammunition center  and auction center where we sell off slaves and prostitutes.We also have the training school where new and young members are trained to fight, shoot and kill  others to gain what they want.  We have the throne room where Boris sits and watches on as perpetrators are punished. Parking my car in my own garage, I decided to go straight to see the Boss rather than going to my room. I made it to the throne room where I was told he was, surrendered by some of the gang members. " Nikolai, thank goodness you are here. I was getting impatient to taste his blood." "Who?" "Him!"  he pointed and I followed his gaze to the center of the throne room where Frank, another powerful member was in shackles. "Frank? what did he do dad? I thought he is your most trusted man around here." "It seems he has forgotten his place and has taken my trust as my weakness. He very well knows how traitors are treated around here yet he went on to leak information about the Luther slave project to the black dragons." "What! why on earth will you do that." I questioned making eye contact with him.  I worked so hard to get that project but the black dragons won it. I blamed myself because it was the first ever project Boris assigned to me and he never loses any deal. I felt like a failure not knowing, he was leaking the information I gathered. I was filled with rage which on impulse made me reach out for George's gun, shooting him directly on his forehead."Learn to be loyal in your next life you crazy animal." "Bam! that is what I am talking about guys. You see this man, he is just like me. We don't take non sense and he is fearless just like his father." Boris blurted out like a stupid proud father. "Let's go,I made Emma prepare your favorite and by the way, you look so worked up. What is it? aren't you happy that you have relieved yourself from thinking you are a failure?" "I am." "Then what is it. You know I hate seeing you like this". "It's the sperm Donor. He has come back into my life and just want to dictate to me how to live my life". "Do you want us to wipe him out?" "I was thinking of that but don't worry. I don't think there is any need to kill him. So far as I am not giving him the chance,I will be fine." "I  will have to skip dinner, I have to catch up on some school work because I missed a week of class just to take care of the Luther slaves project. Leo told me that we have a general test tomorrow so I want to study." "Okay no problem, that reminds me. Have you spoken to that young man about joining us yet?" "I haven't because I know he will never join us and him knowing about us could be dangerous since his dad is a cop and his uncle a soldier." "That's no problem. You know we have the cops on our side." "Yeah I do but Mr. Jones is an upright man and will never betray his position for anything, so is Leo. Everyone knows he is the good boy in school. We don't want any good kid coming to cause havoc in this camp." "You are right son. We will talk about this later to see what we can do."
