"Angie wake up already,ugh if you don't wake up right now am leaving your sorry ass." shouted Jackie, I hate people waking me up early,I mean why can't she just let me sleep in? . " Jackie stop screaming,it's too early for that." I said covering my ears with my soft pillow,she groaned frustratedly leaving the room. Ahh! peace at last, I thought going back to sleep,how can anyone want to wake up early and leave their beds alone? definitely not me, I love my bed too much to put it through that,I don't want it to feel lonely. "ouchh!" I screamed jumping out of bed only to fall with a loud thud on the flow,I heard someone laughing but I was too angry to look around. " What the actual hell? " I asked untangling myself out of the sheet. Jackie stood there clutching her stomach,tears rolling down her cheeks laughing her ass off,. " What the hell was that for? couldn't you just leave me the f**k alone?" I asked but she couldn't answer. " It's not even funny." I said glaring at her before stomping my foot like a two year old child,I love my friend but I sometimes feel like murdering her and burying her under the sea. We have been friends for at least two years now,since my sisters and cousin got married and left for their mate's packs I befriended her,I liked her attitude,she is a nice girl. I stomped into the bathroom for my morning routine,today my alpha brother and his gamma and some warriors are coming back from Hillside pack,our other pack,there has been some rogue attacks and it's been three weeks since they left,they didn't even come for my birthday party,but I understand,they were busy. I walked out of the bathroom to find Jackie on my bed playing with her phone. " Finally! I thought you might have flushed yourself away in the toilet." she said standing up,she was never a good friend to patience,always in a hurry. " isn't it too small for me?" I asked pulling her out with me. " Yeah! too small, especially for that big butt." she said laughing,she was always envious of my ass and chest,. " Anyway,I can't wait to finally see him after three long weeks,I miss him so much." she squealed excitedly. I rolled my eyes letting go of her hand. For some reason I can't seem to get over my one sided crush on our gamma, he was strong,very strong,his brows always knitted together,he doesn't smile easily,and doesn't talk much. Jackie used to be very scared of him,that was until I confessed to her that I liked him,she made a move on him and they have been together since then. "Big brother,I missed you so much." I said running into his strong arms, pulling him into a hug. " I missed you too, little one." he said pulling away from me. " I am eighteen now brother,stop calling me that." I huffed pouting,he laughed stepping away and pulling his mate into a heated kiss. " Oh my virgin eyes." I said turning away from them. " Soon you will find your mate,then you will understand." Becca said blushing. she was my brother's mate. " I can't wait." I said walking towards Jackie who looked a little bit sad. "Hey! what's wrong? you look sad." I asked worriedly. " He is not here, they are saying he will be coming later in the evening." she answered sadly. " At least he is coming, why don't you go and plan something like a romantic dinner or something?" I suggested and her eyes lit up excitedly. "Angie! you are a genius,why didn't I think of that?" I laughed at her. " Because am the genius one here,duh! now go ! go and prepare yourself for your boyfriend." I encouraged her even though it was breaking my heart that she gets to spend time with him. I tried getting over him but I just can't,the more I try,the harder I fall for him. I walked towards the kitchen for some water but stopped at the door when I heard some groans and giggles. I rolled my eyes before opening it because I knew exactly who was in there, my parents. " Mom ! dad! what's the use of having a bedroom if you can't use it?" their heads snapped towards me,mom blushing while Dad just glared at me. " Oh shut up! we are making dinner." Dad said annoyed making me laugh out loud. " Oh yeah!? what are you guys making? because I don't see anything next to you there." I asked opening the fridge and taking a bottle of water. " Just go away and let me cook,you too get out." mom said shooing us out. " But.....but we....." dad began to say but mom cut him off . " But nothing,get out." she said pushing us out,I laughed at dad,he looked like he was about to cry. "Angie this is your fault." dad said playfully and I knew if I didn't run out of there,he was going to attack me with tingles,so I dashed away fast, laughing loudly. I decided to take a walk in the woods,the fresh air filled my nose as I took a deep breath and relaxed. Small animals running around,some running for their lives as they are chased by wolves. I wished I had a wolf too,I mean I was strong, and my senses we're heightened just like that of those who had their wolves,sense of smell,taste,sight and hearing,I had them all,even better than most of the wolves yet I couldn't shift,I didn't have a wolf. My dad doesn't know why I can have all those senses even better than wolves while I am wolfless. I sat down on the rock next to the pond throwing small stones inside. I miss my sisters so much,we would sit around here chatting about anything and laughing at nonsense things. I laid down on my back facing the sky,the sun had long gone and it was getting dark,but the moon was shining brightly even though it wasn't full,the stars started to appear, making the sky look even more beautiful,the soft wind blew filling me with calmness. It was so peaceful. "Angie wake up!" I head a deep voice say. ugh! what is wrong with these people? can't I be left alone with my bed? I rolled to my side but the hard surface reminded me of where I was. " Wake up Angie!" the voice said that,I had forgotten about it. I took a deep breath trying to sit up but fresh mint and lemon scent hit me,it was so strong that I felt dizzy,yet my mouth watered,it was so refreshing and delicious. " Are you ok?" he asked again and I wanted nothing more than to look up and see where this delicious scent was coming from. A hand pulled me up and i felt heat travel from where he touched me and spread everywhere in my body. I looked up at him,his brown eyes were already on me, looking intently at me. "mate" a small but powerful voice said in my head. I froze,mate? Eric is my mate? but wait ! I don't have a wolf,so who said that.? Eric must have felt me freeze because he pulled me into him,his hand on my lower back while the other one was holding me behind my neck to keep me in place. " I am sorry I never said anything about us,I wanted you to find out by yourself." he said still holding me. I nervously bit my lower lip softly,his eyes flicked from brown to deep shade of red,as he looked at my lips. "Stop doing that." he warned,his voice getting deeper. Confused,I released my lip only to lick them. " Doing what?" I was really nervous,I have never been this close to anyone. His hand moved until it rested on my cheek,his thumb running softly on my lips,I tried licking my lips again only to lick his thumb,he growled lowly before smashing his lips against mine possessively. Only if I knew what was coming for me............
