"I know that I'm hard on you sometimes, but that doesn't mean I don't like you. That's why I always rely on you. Yeah, I hope you understand."
Harry smiled. "You don't need to explain that, sir. I understand."
"Okay, you can go to your house now."
Harry stomped off, leaving the mansion behind. Harry then got into his car and drove at high speed, his mind drifting to the events of three hours ago, when he failed to carry out the money task given by Steve, namely finding a woman that the old man wanted.
Harry didn't know anything more about it. Harry didn't want to interfere in Steve's business with the woman he was after. Harry's job was simply to find the woman, then hand her over to Steve. Yes, that's right, just that, nothing more.
Even though Steve wanted the woman, whom he said he was going to torture and kill for making a terrible and fatal mistake, Harry didn't care. It was none of his business, it was not his area of responsibility. Harry would only do what his master wanted him to do.
When he reached his house, Harry remembered the incident again. He stopped and closed his eyes, his mind spinning. He had received a huge failure and disappointment from his boss.
As Steve had earlier said, Harry rarely makes mistakes. All the work he did was always perfect. But he doesn't know why today.
It was as if the universe was not in his favor. Harry had to be satisfied if he failed to carry out the task. In addition to disappointing Steve, Harry was actually disappointed with himself.
How could he not? He rarely failed or made mistakes, and all his work was always perfect without gaps. Although there are some small mistakes, that doesn't count, and small mistakes are understandable.
Harry took a shower immediately after arriving home. The handsome man decided to go to sleep after his body was refreshed, tomorrow he would do heavy work.
That is, to find that woman again.
***
Three hours earlier...
Harry was driving the car at an above average speed. The handsome man was focused on driving, his gaze was so intense, his jaw hardened, and his two muscular arms gripped the steering wheel firmly. Harry was good on the road, he was good at driving. Harry can overtake the vehicle in front of him with a gap.
Harry couldn't be late, he had to get to his destination quickly. Harry was sure that if he failed to perform his duties, his boss would be furious with him. Harry could guess that.
"I've never made a fatal mistake, I can't fail." Harry spoke to himself, and the burly man focused his gaze ahead.
After being on the road for a short time, the man finally reached his destination. It was a Japanese restaurant. Instead of entering the restaurant, Harry waited in front of the building.
Harry had already gotten out of the car. He watched, his focus unbroken, as the man continued to watch the entrance of the Japanese restaurant. Paying attention and continuing to look for someone he was looking for.
According to information from his boss, the woman was still in there. Harry continued to wait, surely she would come out in the next few minutes.
While waiting, Harry didn't want to be missed at all, so he continued to pay attention to the entrance and exit of the restaurant. Occasionally, he looked at the sheet of photos his boss had given him.
Harry had looked at it intently, he remembered it very clearly and well. The woman's face was firmly imprinted in his brain.
Until finally, Harry's back, which had previously been leaning against the car body, now straightened.
The target has been found.
The woman in the photo had just come out of the restaurant. Harry couldn't be wrong. He was sure that she was the woman he was looking for—the woman his boss wanted.
She was a cunning, greedy, and ruthless traitor. At least that was the information his boss had told him about her.
And there was no reason for Harry not to believe his master's words. Of course he did, he worked for the boss.
Viewed from a considerable distance, Harry could feel the difference in the woman's face. In the photo, the woman had long blonde hair. But, what Harry saw at this moment was that although the woman had cut her hair into a bob, the color was still the same.
But, it was obvious that her face hadn't changed. Harry was certain that she was the woman his boss wanted.
Harry rushed straight to the woman, his long legs running.
"Hello Miss, excuse me." Harry intercepted the woman's steps, surprising her with such a sudden appearance.
The woman was stunned for a moment, looking surprised while stroking her chest. "You startled me, what's wrong?"
"I'm not from here, I'm lost." Harry began his act. This was the way he used to trick the woman. His boss told him that Harry could do whatever he wanted, whatever it took, as long as he got the woman to his boss.
And this is the method Harry used.
"And what do you want?" she asked.
"One moment." Harry took out his cell phone, and then he showed her an address. "Here, I want to go to this place. Do you know where it is?"
"It's still quite a distance from here," the woman replied after reading the address presented by Harry.
"How far do I have to drive?"
"Probably thirty minutes, or less if you drive at a high speed."
"I'm afraid of getting lost, I've already gotten lost twice since one in the afternoon. I have an event there, can you take me there, miss?"
The woman grimaced, then shook her head. "I'm sorry, I can't, I have my own business. I'm sorry I can't help you. I'm very sorry."
"Miss, I don't know what to do. You can ask me for anything after you drop me off at this address. I promise, I won't lie to you."
Harry waited anxiously for her response. He waited long enough for her to hesitate for a moment, but finally she nodded, making Harry cheer inwardly, his lips then turned up into a wide smile.
"Ah, that's very kind of you, miss. I'm really very helpful. Come, my car is over there."
"Alright, we better hurry."
"I agree."
Harry was already confident that he could get the woman to the boss. Harry was already feeling big-headed because his plan was going smoothly. There was no need for violence, the woman was already willing to go with him.
However, Harry had been too arrogant beforehand. He didn't expect what happened next.
"Wait a minute, can I see your watch? It looks really nice," the woman said, pointing at the watch in Harry's hand.
"Sure, go ahead." Harry stuck out his hand. Then, the woman took a step back after seeing, observing, and holding Harry's watch.
Harry didn't know why the woman's expression suddenly turned stiff.
"No, I'm not coming with you. You're a f*****g liar, you're Steve's man, I'm not coming with you!" The woman shouted loudly.
Harry stretched his eyeballs wide. He was dumbfounded. What the hell is this?
"Miss, wait a minute!"
"Please, there's a criminal here!" The woman with the hairdo shouted.
Harry was instantly alert in place. "Holy s**t!"
