3. The Man Kidnapped Her

1156 Words
Harry remembered the incident from yesterday. After the woman he was after shouted that he was a criminal, Harry immediately got into the car and rushed away. He drove his car at a high speed. And luckily, he survived before being mobbed by people. Three days later, the handsome man tried to do his job as best he could. For two days, he researched and searched for various pieces of information about the woman he was after—or rather, the one his boss wanted. Time was at a premium, and Harry needed to find her as soon as possible. This is where his cleverness and ingenuity are put to the test. During those three days, Harry continued to work hard. In fact, it didn't matter if he had very little sleep. The most important thing was that the treasure task was completed very well. And by the way, this was the first time Steve had asked Harry to look for people. Usually, Harry only escorted Steve when the man went to distant and dangerous places. Steve was an old man with a lot of wealth, he had a company in the electronics field with branches everywhere. Being able to work with him was a distinct advantage for Harry. At the beginning, when Steve told Harry to find a woman, that was something Harry didn't expect. Especially when Steve said that he wanted to teach her a lesson. "I just want that woman, she's a filthy w***e who must be wiped off the face of the earth, and only I have the authority to take her life." Those were the words that Steve echoed to Harry, while Harry didn't know what they meant. But clearly, Steve and the woman had a problem. A problem that Harry knew nothing about. And Harry didn't want to bother or ask about it, unless Steve suddenly told him. Harry immediately stood up from his seat after getting the address of the woman's house he was looking for. Quick as a flash, the tall, handsome man hurried to change his clothes, then grabbed the car keys and left. This was the last day, Harry had to succeed, this was his chance, there was no time to lose. By midnight tonight, she had to come with him to meet Steve. And after that, Harry didn't care what happened after that. This was his only job, nothing more. It was already seven in the evening, and the streets were still busy, especially since it was Sunday. But, fortunately, the streets weren't jammed. Harry would have cursed if that had happened. Forty-five minutes later, Harry had arrived at his destination. A house with a minimalist and harmonious style. Harry was stunned, the house was very beautiful even though it wasn't big. It looked very comfortable to live in. Then, Harry shook his head because his thoughts had wandered. Harry hoped that the woman was in there. Harry had already researched the data about the woman. Her name was Jane, and she was in her late twenties, or more precisely, 29 years old. Only 4 years' difference with Harry. Jane lived alone, she was a single woman, working as a cashier in a supermarket. Harry waited for a moment, thinking for a moment. He had already taken off the watch he was wearing. Jane knew that the watch belonged to Steve. As it happened, the expensive watch belonged to the old man. Steve had given it to Harry free of charge as a gift and as an expression of appreciation for the way he had helped him over the years. Harry couldn't refuse because Steve forced him to accept the small gift. Instead, the watch backfired. If Jane knew that the watch belonged to Steve. That meant she knew the old man very well. The two of them had a connection. If only Harry hadn't been wearing that damn watch at the time, maybe the plan would have gone as smoothly as it should have. But, the rice had already been cooked, it was too late. Harry had deliberately not told Steve that his failure to bring Jane was because of the watch. Steve would have been furious at such a silly mistake. And now, Harry would make sure his plan would not fail. Harry got out of the car. His entire outfit was black, he wore a hat and glasses. Harry's steps were quick and agile. Harry wasn't a cruel man, but he might go to extremes if he needed to. As much as possible, Harry would avoid that, although he couldn't promise it. There was a knock on the door. After waiting for a while, Jane opened the door for Harry. However, she quickly realized that her guest was the man she had met the other day. Jane immediately gasped in shock. With a tense face, Jane wanted to close the door, but Harry held it with his strength. The door slammed open again. "What do you want, asshole?!" Jane was furious, her face was already red. She gave Harry a sharp, angry look. Before Harry could answer, Jane spoke again. "You'd better get out of here or I'm calling the police right now!" "You need to come with me, immediately." Harry said firmly that when he tried to pull Jane's hand, the woman had apparently prepared herself, and Jane immediately moved back. She tried everything she could to get the door to close, but Harry just held her back even more. "I said you go, I don't want to come with you. Tell that old bastard that I have nothing more to do with him." Jane shouted angrily right in front of Harry's face. "I don't care about that, you better not fight back or I'll do something bad to you." "And I won't be scared, you can't take me away, let alone have to meet that old and stupid bastard." Jane spat. "But unfortunately, I can't go along with that." Harry immediately lunged at Jane, the woman he managed to catch. Jane screamed, howled, and yelled, her body writhing, trying to free herself from the confines of Harry's powerful strength. Harry had already said that he had prepared everything. He immediately smothered Jane's mouth to keep her quiet, not only that, Jane went still and limp as Harry drugged her. The neighborhood around the house where Jane lives is very quiet, which is what makes Harry dare to pick up women here. Harry was now relieved that Jane was already in his car. He placed her body on the back seat. Jane was asleep from the anesthesia. Harry immediately drove away at full speed. The car growled, splitting the traffic again. The anesthesia wouldn't last long, it wouldn't be long before Jane woke up. Especially now that Harry wasn't driving towards Steve's mansion. He still had time, at least until midnight. And now, there were still a few hours to go.
