After Emma and Leila officially joined the company, they were assigned to a newly formed design team. Their desks were moved from the open area to a larger office.
"Thank god, I'm almost done." Leila, who had been working for several days straight, rubbed her red eyes and sighed. "This is so hard. Why do I feel like the work now is even more tiring than the probation period?"
She stretched and leaned closer to Emma. "How about you? Are you almost finished?"
As design assistants, Emma and Leila were responsible for collecting materials and providing inspiration for Diya's new products for the next quarter. Their first task upon joining the team was to design new pieces using the most popular elements of the moment.
