Chapter 17: A Suspicious Discovery

Jane had a little confused why Alexander did that to Erica if he in loved with Erica, why he do such a thing, and Jane think something is up about them so.

In the days following the wedding, Jane couldn't shake off her suspicion about Lucy. She felt that there was something off about her, something that didn't quite add up. So, she decided to do a little investigating.

Jane started by looking into Lucy's past. She discovered that Lucy came from a wealthy family, just like Alexander's father had said.

But as she dug deeper, she found something that raised her suspicions even more.

Jane discovered that Lucy had been involved in several scandals in the past. She had a reputation for being manipulative and deceitful.

Jane also found out that Lucy had been engaged before, but the engagement had been called off under mysterious circumstances.

Jane was convinced that Lucy was up to no good. She believed that Lucy had manipulated Alexander into marrying her and that she was the one behind the threats to Erica. Jane knew she had to tell Erica about her findings.

When Jane told Erica about what she had discovered, Erica was shocked. She couldn't believe that Lucy could be so deceitful. But she also knew that they needed more evidence to prove Lucy's deceit.
