Chapter 25: The Escape
When Jane woke up, she found herself tied up in an abandoned place. A man was guarding her, making sure she couldn't escape. Despite her situation, Jane didn't panic. She had been trained in taekwondo and knew how to defend herself.
Jane carefully observed her surroundings. She noticed a sharp object nearby. She knew she had to get to it to free herself. She waited for the right moment, when the guard was distracted, and quickly rolled towards the object.
Using all her strength, Jane managed to cut the ropes binding her. But she knew she had to act fast before the guard noticed. She quietly moved towards the exit, trying not to make any noise.
Just as she was about to reach the exit, the guard noticed her. He rushed towards her, but Jane was ready. She used her taekwondo skills to defend herself, quickly incapacitating the guard.
With the guard out of the way, Jane managed to escape. She knew she had to get back to Erica and continue their investigation. Despite the danger, Jane was determined to expose Lucy and Alexander's father.
