The next morning Alexis woke up feeling sharp back pain reminding her of the events of last night she then gets up and gets into the shower and washes her hair. Once she is out of the shower curls her hair and puts on a long sleeve turtle neck bodysuit, a pair of light ankle skinny jeans, her grey and black checkerboard trench coat, suede black ankle boots and a matte red stain lipstick. She then walks back into the room and goes to wake up Gabriel.

“Hey Gabe wake up.” Alexis whispers 

Gabriel groans, rolling  over, turning his back to her and says “What?” 

“Wake up and get dressed to go see your mom and check the cameras back at the house.” Alexis replied 

“Fine but you owe me coffee after keeping me up all night.”Gabriel said with a smirk 

“Hey you weren't complaining then don't complain now, and when did you start drinking coffee?”Alexis asked 

“Since we went to starbucks and i tasted your Carmel frappe.” Gabriel replied 

“Then we better hurry.”Alexis said laughing 

An Hour later

Alexis and Gabriel are sitting in the camera room at the warehouse. Alexis takes her focus from the monitor to look at Gabriel who is so focused on the monitor, she grabs his hand and squeezes it reassuring him.

“There, right there, stop and zoom in Samson.”Gabriel yelled pointing at the black figures on the monitor 

“I got it, it's pretty blurry but it's good enough to put through facial recognition. give me  like an hour and i'll have something for you.” Samson replied 

“You need to do it now and I will sit right here and watch you and I need you to check everybody's phone to see who let them in. They had some type of help,  the whole place was secure.” Gabriel ordered 

“Hey let's not stay you breathing down his neck is not going to help him look any faster. Why  don't we go see Leo? We promised him that we would see him today anyway.” Alexis said standing holding her hand  out at him 

“But I want to stay and make sure this gets done and I need to get some work done down in the office why don't you go see him and then i'll meet you there after.”Gabriel replied 

“Gabriel Leon Salvadore if you don't get your butt up off that chair and follow me out this warehouse to go see our son you will be missing all of this for the next two weeks.” Alexis said waving her hands up and down at herself  

“But…” Gabriel started 

“Don't even start to lie to me about having work to do in the office we finisher it all yesterday before we left to have lunch with your parents.”Alexis continued crossing her arms 

“Fine but your driving and Samson, when you're done with that call me and i'll come back as soon as I  can.” Gabriel replied 

“Samson don't listen to him text me boss man here needs to relax a bit with his son.” Alexis replied 

Gabriel rolls his eyes opening the door, not arguing with her. Alexis walks out the door and as soon as she makes it out and Gabriel closes the door he grabs her by the wrist spinning her around and pulling her to him by the waist. Alexis looks up at him catching him looking at her lips, breath hitches making her heart skip a beat.

“What did I tell you about bossing me around?” Gabriel asked raising an eyebrow 

“I don't remember what you said, please remind me.”Alexis asked smirking 

“Oh so I guess you plan today was not only dress like a boss but act like one but guess what I am the don so I overrule what you say today you get a pass but next time there will be consequences.”Gabriel said planting a kiss on her lips 

“But what if i want the consequences now?” Alexis asked biting her lip 

“Don't do that  I won't be able to hold myself back and we could be seen.”Gabriel replied 

“Sir we have an apartment upstairs we can go up there.”Alexis said winking 

“What are you waiting for then get your pretty little butt up there.” Gabriel growled 

Alexis and Gabriel ran up the stairs like two love struck teenagers ready to pounce on each other, Alexis pushed the door open and slid off her pants and shoes spun around showing Gabriel the view and walked to the room. 

“Catch me.” Alexis said 

Gabriel ran up to her and picked her up bridal style and walked the rest of the way to the room with her in his arms. Alexis gets a text from an unknown number:

Unknown: Be Careful what you tell him next or you wont make it out alive.

Alexis: Who is this?

Unknown: If you love him like you say do what I say.

Alexis:What do i need to do?

Unknown: Just wait till I text you again and I have cameras in the house so don't try anything.

“Good morning, beautiful, what's with the long face?” Gabriel said walking out of the room 

“Oh nothing, I've been waiting for you. We have to head to the hospital, your moms going to be discharged and Samson has information about the shooter. so go get dressed.”Alexis replied stuffing her phone in her back pocket 

2 minutes later 

Alexis and Gabriel walk to the car hand in hand talking about plans for the day but all Alexis could think about was the text messages.

“How am i going to keep this from him he ends up finding out everything, i need to get Samson to track this number. This can't go on for too long.”Alexis thought 

“Hey babe how about you go to the warehouse and i go to the hospital i want to spent some time with my mom and have some family time to clear my head.”Gabriel said looking down at Alexis

“Okay that actually sounds great, here are the keys, i'll take the jeep.” Alexis replied 

“Thank you text me when you get there.”Gabriel said kissing Alexis on the forehead 

20 minutes later

“Samson i need you to do something for me and you can't tell Gabriel, ok?” Alexis asked 

“One it depends on what it is and if you will protect me when he finds out i hid this from him.”Samson replied 

Alexis pulls out her phone and goes to the messages “Is this good enough for you?” Alexis said lifting an eyebrow 

“OK but you do have to at some time tell him.”Samson replied 

“Yea I will I also need you to find a way to hack into the cameras they put some in me and Gabriel's apartment upstairs.” Alexis said 

From the other side of the door.

“She has fallen for it, it's time to continue with the plan.” Unknown said
