I finally got something in my stomach.
But I needed to get something out of me
Bryce said Lara made him do it.
But what was that exactly?
I was escorted to a room.
Not too small, not too big.
It was complete but lacking.
I requested books and a pen.
They were eager to give me what I wanted.
Let's say, they were scared.
Two stationary officers were placed at the entrance of the room.
I didn't have plans of running away.
They were still going to bring me back here if I ran.
I laid on the bed and watched the ceiling.
It was white.
But there were a lot of black dots in my vision.
Lashing out was inevitable at this point.
It always ends once I spiral out of control.
I need to learn to control it but it's hard.
As hard as making all the nations of the world agree on one thing.
I closed my eyes and soon I was gone.
I didn't know what time it was when I jolted awake.
Someone was in my room.
A dark figure.
A man?
How did he get in?
I sat still on the bed waiting for him to make a move.
Or was I hallucinating?
No.
A man fully clad in black was in a corner of my room.
“ Nice to meet you, Anna.”
He spoke.
I squinted to see clearly.
“ I suppose you know why I'm here?”
I laughed.
He paused.
“Lara sent you.”
He didn't say anything.
“ You almost killed your boyfriend Bryce.”
I frowned.
“ When Bryce wakes up, ask him what he did.”
The man hummed and got up.
Instead of heading for the door, he turned sharply and walked towards me.
A perfect opportunity to lash out.
The dots in my vision had become darker and larger.
********
I'm not good at explaining stuff but the next morning, the man's body was dragged out from my room.
I don't know if he was dead.
But I remember breaking a lot of bones at night.
The room was a bloody mess.
I mean real blood.
The doctors assigned to me checked me for any form of injury.
The guy had a knife that sliced through my back.
Luckily that was it.
Let's just take luck out of the picture for now.
