Chapter Nine

Beauty p.o.v

"One kiss Beauty," he said.

"No Kai move I need to go to work," I told him.

"Don't go to work today," he said.

"No I need to take care of my family," i said.

I don't know why Kai thought I could just up and leave my job because he's a "kingpin." What if we break up then what. I have to have a plan.

"I will take care of my family," he said.

"Kai I know your a kingpin or whatever, but I been taking care of my kids ever since I had them," I said.

"You would've got help, but you ain't tell a nigga you was pregnant," he said.

I rolled my eyes. If I told Kai I was pregnant he would either question me or leave. That's what most of these niggas do down here.

"That's because you left," I said.

"Yea to handle some things you couldn't call a nigga?" He asked.

"I didn't have your number Kai! Don't try to blame me because you wasn't in their lives until now!" I yelled.

I can't believe he's really blaming me. The minute I found out I was pregnant my parents made me call me him so he could "man up" and help raise the twins. I would've been fine either way, it was hard going through my pregnancy by myself but it's not like Kai would've gave a damn.

"Beauty I wasn't even there when they were born!" He yelled.

"Why do you care about it now? When you met them you didn't care," I said.

"I did care and I still care. The only reason why I'm acting like this is because my first born died," he said.

I stopped getting ready and looked at him. All of sudden I was feeling guilt. I knew what it was like to lose a child.

"I-I gotta go," I said.

"f**k that Beauty, we not done talkin'," Kai said.

I was about to pick up the car keys, but instead he grabbed them first.

"What the f**k Kai," I said.

"You not leavin' till we sort this s**t out," he said. "You think I don't got s**t to do also."

"So you selling drugs is more important than me helping people," he said.

"I help people too the f**k," he said.

"By feeding their addiction!" I yelled at him.

"Aye calm down Beauty I don't have time for your attitude, if I say I got us then I got ya Beauty," he said.

I shook my head at him.

"Kai we're only in each other's lives because of our daughters," I told him.

It was hard to admit, but come on if we didn't have s*x the night of that party we would not be talking. I don't know why he thought him selling drugs was okay.

"Look Beauty I don't want this to be our first argument as a couple," he said.

"Whatever Kai," I said.

I grabbed my keys and left him.

Kai p.o.v

"Aye where you at?" I asked.

"Kai look baby I'm sorry what happened a few months ago I thought you was cheating, baby do you forgive me?" Angela asked.

"Yea whatever where you at?" I asked.

"I'm at home," She said.

"Imma be there in a few minutes," I said.

"Okay daddy bye love you," She said.

I hung up the phone and went to my car. The twins are in daycare now so I get a break from them don't get me wrong I love them to death but they can get on yo last nerve. Gia is my first born mama we was together when I slept with Beauty, but she cheated first. When I slept with Beauty I wouldn't think I would get her pregnant, but I'm glad I did. Gia crazy ass hell, but her p***y good but Beauty her p***y tight and good s**t her p***y the bomb. When I walked up Gia porch she opened the door in nothing but heels all I came here for is so she can give me head I ain't in the mood to be f*****g. But I wasn't even focused on her all I could think about was Beauty. Out of all the girls that night I chose her, but why?

I remember how she was next to her friend, I was looking at her the whole time. It was cute how she was playing all hard to get at first. I pulled up to the trap and went through security, everything seemed good. Everybody was doing what they is supposed to. I went to my office and sat down. A few seconds later my right hand man Aj walked in and dapped me.

"Damn nigga where you been? I been holding things down here," He said.

"My bad. I been with my baby mama and kids," I said.

"Yo baby mama huh? Man she fine as f**k," He said rolling a blunt.

"Nigga you think I don't know that, thats why I had to make her mine," I said.

"Thought you gave up on love after Angela," he said.
