Ever since I told Kai about the twins he never seems to leave me alone. He keeps wanting to see them, but I keep saying no.
"Bae why won't you let him see them? The twins are only three months, it's not like he really missed anything," Bambi said.
"Except their birth," Stevie said.
"It's not like he even knew they were going to be born," Bambi said.
We were at a restaurant hanging out like our usual Saturday's.
"I don't care," I said.
"Beauty come on," Bambi said.
I shook my head no.
"First off we all know Kai runs these streets, anything could happen to him. He's not about to pop in their lives just to leave," I said.
"b***h just let him see the damn kids! If I was Kai yo ass would've been in court," Stevie said.
"You would send me to court?" I asked.
"Hell yea," They said unison.
"I don't need him y'all I'm independent," I said.
"Independent or not every kid needs a daddy. I wish I knew who mines was I didn't hear a thing about him or my mama," Stevie said.
After Stevie was born her parents left the hospital so when she was 5 some kingpin adopted her.
"Bae what we trying to say is let him see the kids it might change y'all lives," Bambi said.
"No, see if I do that we'll fall in love then he'll cheat then I won't let him see the kids," I said.
"How do you know the future? If that even is the future," Stevie said.
"It could happen," I said.
"Exactly could, stop being so damn stubborn," Bambi said.
"Fine I'll let him see the twins," I said.
After that we all left the restaurant and I went home. When I pulled up I seen Kai, how did he even find out where I live.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to see my kids," He said.
"Couldn't have called?" I said.
"Didn't feel like stalkin' yo ass," he said.
He followed me into the house. I walked in the living room and the twins were on their play mat. I had my brother watch them while I was out.
"Hey Blue," I said.
He looked at me and nodded his head. He looked again and noticed Kai was with me.
"Oh s**t," He said.
"Wassup," Kai said.
"Why you here man?" Blue asked.
"Came to see my kids," Kai said.
I rolled my eyes and went over to pick them up. Their eyes lit up when they seen me and I smiled looking at their chubbiness. I picked them up and walked over to Kai.
"The twins yours? Damn," Blue said.
"This is Aubree and this is McKenna," I said.
Kai smiled and took them both from me.
"Dang I made some adorable kids," he said.
"So when do you want to see them?" I asked.
"Actually wanted to talk to you about that," he said.
I took one of the twins noticing she was falling asleep. I started to rock McKenna as he had Aubree.
"Let me move in, I can help you out and my lease about to be up so it's the perfect time," he said.
"I don't know," I said.
Kai moving in already made butterflies in my stomach.
"It's the perfect thing, I don't even gotta be in yo room I can sleep on the couch," he said.
"Let him move in, tired of waking up at three in the morning because of them," Blue said.
"Shut up," I said.
I looked at Kai and he flashed me a smile.
"Fine, but there's going to be rules," I said.
"I can handle it," he said.
