Chapter 'Four

I cannot go to sleep, like usual. Usually I go and make me some chocolate milk, but Kai is here so I have to watch what I'm doing. I got out of my bed and poked my head out the door to make sure nobody was in the hallway. I started walking down the hallway but I bumped into somebody and my first instinct was to grab a knife and stab them so I did. I keep at least one weapon in every part of this house except the kids room.

"Damn Beauty!" He yelled in pain.

I turned the hallway light on and it was Kai.

"Oh my God. I'm so sorry, come on let's get you to the couch," I said.

I helped him get up and we walked over to the couch. I got my first aid kit and some gloves, I pinned my hair up and started fixing him up.

"Sorry again about this," I said putting the gloves on.

"It's okay," He said.

"I'm not used to people in my hallways at night, here put this in your mouth" I said giving him the towel.

"Why would I n- ahh! Son o-"

I rolled my eyes at his stubbornness. That's what the towel was for.

"I told you to put the cloth in your mouth," I said.

"Why not give them cute lips instead," he said.

I started to blush.

"You know it's cute when you blush," He said.

"I wasn't blushing," I said looking down.

He lifted my head up making me look at him.

"Yes you were," He said.

He started leaning towards me but I stopped him.

"No Kai we can't do this, the only reason your in this house is because of Aubree and McKenna I want you in their lives so we can be friends," I said.

"Okay we're friends," He said smirking.

I finished fixing his wound then went to sleep. The next day I woke up and went to the bathroom I didn't realize Kai was in here until I seen a figure in the mirror. He had nothing on. Water was dripping off his body I started going lower and lowe-

"Do you have an extra towel?" Kai asked.

"Huh? Oh wait here," I said.

I started brushing my teeth and did my face. I walked back in my room and seen Kai sitting on my bed.

"You have your own room," I said.

"Were friends right? So I can be in my friend room," He said.

"Whatever," I said rolling my eyes.

I walked in my closet and looked for something to wear.

"Friend can you come and put some lotion on my back," Kai said.

I got the lotion from him and started putting the lotion on his back. Friends my ass.

"Are you coming with me and the twins?" I asked.

"Where y'all going?" He asked.

"Meeting my sister and nieces and Dashawn at the mall," I said.

"Yea I'll go with y'all," He said.

"Be ready in 30 minutes," I said.

He slapped my ass as I got off the bed.

"Were friends Beauty," He said

I rolled my eyes walking out the room. I am not going to survive being here with him.
