Kade
Kade was halfway through his 8-hour duty shift on the bridge, and what a boring time it had been. The ship was still on its course towards the next gate and there were no other ships in the system. He repeatedly found his thoughts going back to the woman in Jace’s cabin and what he had wanted to do with her. He was full of a mixture of emotions, shame and guilt for his actions, but then elated and full of life with the desire to be able to do what he wanted to do.
Imaging what it would be like to make love with a woman who wanted him and responded to his touch, he was lost in his own world. This world shattered at the sound of the Security officer’s voice, “Sir, a ship has just left the planet and is heading towards the same gate as us.”
