Wallis was not surprised by the reception they received once they left the ship. In fact, he expected it. There was no way their government would give up those women without a fight. Wallis just hoped that the information they had gathered, the research and laboratory results they had achieved and the prospect of a long-term cure for the fertility issues would be enough to sway them.
