Seeing Susan huddled in a ball in the shower made Philippa’s heart ache. The first thing she did was turn off the water and then wrap Susan in a towel giving her as much comfort as possible. Philippa managed to get Susan dry and dressed and tucked up in bed, all the while trying to lighten the mood through their conversation.
