As they left the mess, Jace commed Commander Travail on the bridge to inform him that Ensign Stein was on his way to take over navigation for the jump through the gate and to delay the gate transit for 30 minutes to ensure the ship, crew and passengers were ready.
As they walked down the corridor towards Jace’s quarters, he couldn’t help but notice the bounce in Kade’s step and the smirk on his face.
“You will have to calm yourself down before Philippa sees you.” Jace commented.
“I can’t help it! I just excited. I’m going to be a dad!” Kade blurted.
“I know, but she doesn’t know you know.” Jace insisted.
“Okay, okay.” Kade said trying to calm himself and remove the smirk from his face.
