A trip to the mall

I was in Bed for about 2days, Darren never left me alone at home when I was sick, he still deals with all his work in his room while he was caring for me but when I was okay he came back to being his old self.

It has been a week of him ignoring me. He goes to work so early then comes back when I'm asleep. I didn't even had a chance to say thank you.

I was so bored at home so I decided to go to the mall with Sierra Mei. Of course I'm wearing an oversized hoodie, my Prada sunglasses and a black cap as a cover-up.

"Why did you pulled me all the way here again?" Mei whined.

"Stop whining, shopping is better than looking at you the whole day with your stupid meditation." I said while looking over at some heels.

She stops me, Puts her hand over heart. "That hurts, meditation is good for your mind. You should try it often instead of waisting your time impressing your husband." She said.

"What the hell are you talking about? Me? Impressing that piece of meat? Let other dogs bite him." I continued walking and looking for other stuffs. "Besides, I'm shopping because we'll be going on a vacation."

I saw a cute pair of red flip-flops beside a mannequin and called the attention of the saleslady who's eyes were eyeing me up and down. Such an insult.

"Do you have this in size 9 or 10?" I asked.

She crossed her arms. "That's over a thousand dollars."

Mei started coughing. "What? A thousand dollars just for a flip-flops?"

I faked a smile at the saleslady, her face was pissing me off. "Do you have this in size 9 or 10?" I repeated.

"This is limited edition and very expensive, if you don't have that kind of money, don't waist my time in getting you the size that you want." She said getting it from my hand and putting it back where I saw it.

Mei was about to charge at the woman but I stopped her. "Is that a way to treat your customers here?" I said still trying to control my anger.

"Your no customer of mine. Our shop is for customers who can afford our products, by looking at your outfit and your friend over here, I could tell that you can't even afford even the cheapest product we have." She was insulting me, everyone in the store was now looking at us, They started whispering and laughing at me and Mei.

I look around, the store was not that big. "Where's your manager?" I asked with my head held up.

"Is she out of her mind?"

"Now she's calling the manager, what a waist of time."

"She looks like a beggar with that outfit."

The saleslady laughs. "Ok. I'll give you a chance, I'll call my manager so you can talk." She says and heads back to the cashier table. She whispered at an old woman that was facing back at us, they started laughing.

"Did you see that?! Why did you stop me? I was almost about to slap that woman's face!" Sierra Mei whispered-shout at me.

I didn't answer and started tappin on my phone, texting someone. An old woman cleared her throat, she looks at me from head to toe and back up like what the saleslady did awhile ago.

"Are you the manager?" I asked.

"Yes. What can I do for you?"

"How much is everything that is visible in your shop?" I simply ask. She then started laughing.

"Excuse me Ms. But your waisting our time. If your planning to make a scene here just please go and get going. You can't even afford an outfit with what your wearing." She said pointing at my oversized hoodie.

Then on cue, Albert Tui appears behind me. "Good morning Mrs. Yuan, I couldn't withdraw the money immediately so Mr. Darren Yuan said that you could use his Black card." He explains and hands over a card.

Everyone in the shop gasp as they heard Darren's name. The saleslady earlier was on shock and also the old woman that was in front of me.

"Did he said Darren Yuan? If she's Mrs. Yuan then that means..."

"Oh My God."

"Is that Ruisa Lu Yuan?!"

"The Ruisa Yuan?! Oh My God, What is she wearing?"

I take off my cap, let my beautiful hair down, pulled my sunglasses gives it to Sierra Mei. I smiled confidently at the old woman.

"I'll repeat what I said Mrs. Jennie Dou. I'll buy everything that is visible in this shop of yours, I'm gonna give you 30minutes to pack everything up okay? I'm a bit of in a hurry. Thank You." I said. "Albert will you please hand her the card, I don't wanna touch a woman that has insulted my beautiful outfit for this day."

She frozed. "I-I'm sorry Mrs. Yuan, I-I did not know that it w-was you. Please forgive me." She said and bows very low at me but I just turned around and ignore her.

"And also Albert, Please tell my husband that I want this shop closed down. Customer service is so poor here, Simply a waist of time and money." I said and started walking out.

Before Sierra followed she walks around the old woman. "Before you insult the outfit of my boss be sure to see closely what brand she wears and see how much its worth." She says and finally follows behind.

Everything was a disaster. All the woman in that shop went and followed me outside until some people noticed me and started taking pictures of me and trying to come close to me for a selfie, it became crowded, and I started to feel a little hurt of the pushing and pulling, Sierra called the Mall's management for an assistantance so a few minutes later the way cleared up.

Me and Sierra quickly went down in the parking lot and waited for Albert to finish. While waiting I start scrolling thru my phone and I was not surprised to see that I was again trending on Twitter.

Some of my fans were angry and some where saying that I was too much with closing down the shop. I had received a Direct Message from the real owner of the shop begging me to change my decision.

Ignoring it I just continued scrolling and reading every tweet about what happened earlier until Frei called me, I bet she heard the news.

"Are you okay?! That worthless piece of s**t! How could she insult my sister in law like that?! You did the right thing, their shop should be closed down!" She shouted against the phone.

I laughed. "Calm down Frei, I'm fine."

"Why would you even wear a disguise huh? And why even bother going shopping at a Mall when you can just shop online or request a new piece from our friends? Are you insane Ruru?!" Again she was exaggerating.

"Stop shouting at my ear Frei, I wanted to go to the mall, it something that I miss when I was in abroad." I explained.

"Come on Ru, You know that it will never be the same while your here in China right? Our life will never be normal." She said. I massage my forehead. She was right, everything will never be like it was.

"I'll be there after I finish some things in here." I change the topic and Closed my phone.

"What do you plan with all those things you brought?" Sierra Mei asked looking at her phone.

I get my eye mask inside my bag and put it on. "Call Park Jin for me, Tell him that we'll be donating things for the foundation."

"Okay." I heard her say.

I was about to drift away in Dreamland when Albert opened the van. "Excuse me Mrs. Yuan?" He wakes me up.

I didn't bother to open my eyes. "Thank you Albert for coming, Forget that thing that I said earlier about closing the shop down, I think-"

"I'm sorry Mrs. Yuan but your husband just called and was very furious of what happened. He instructed me to pull down every investor on their business and make sure to get their family bankrupt." He explained.

I tear off the mask and looked wide eyes at Albert. Darren was that angry? It was just a simple thing. It was not a big deal really.

"Bankrupt? That's too much Albert." Seirra Said looking at me and back at him with a sad face.

"Sierra's right. Tell him that I insist in giving that shop a chance." I instructed.

Albert bows his head. "I couldn't do anything Mrs. Yuan. Your husband has the final decision. I'm sorry." He bows down at me and closed the door of the van leaving me and Sierra still on shock of Darren's outburst.

"What was he thinking?" I asked.

Sierra looks at me. "I think he's overreacting with the situation. I know he's just protecting you and he cared for you so much but don't you think that was too much?"

I glanced at my phone deciding whether I'll call him or not. "Don't you dare Ruisa! Didn't you heard Albert? He's furious right now. Just talk to him later. You head first in the hospital, I'll look for information about that shop and report to you after." She explained so I just nod my head and went back to closing my eyes, trying to calm down.
