A slight fever

Darren's Point of view: I've been calling Ruisa for almost an hour now and she doesn't return a single call. I also called my sister but she said that she hasn't seen her since earlier this morning. "Hey Dude, what's with that f*****g face?" My friend Joe asked grinning at me. "I can't contact Ruisa. I told her to be at the hospital to help Frei take care of Grandpa." I explained with an irritating face. He laughs at my answer so I look at him. "What the f**k are you laughing at?" I asked. "Dude, Your over reacting, Did she got you whipped last night or what? I thought you don't care about your wife?" He said. I throwed the pen that I was holding at his suit. He laughed even harder than before. "Shut your f*****g mouth! I am not caring for that girl. I'm just pissed!" I shouted. Right on cue, Albert came inside with some papers in his hands again. "Sir, I have the contract for Mr. Joe Smith." He says then puts down the papers on the desk. I sighed. "Albert, please call Sierra, Tell her to find Ruisa asap." Joe looks at me with a smug on his face. "Yeah Albert, Your boss here is such a worried p***y lately." He teased. Albert smiled and quickly went out. "Will you just sign that damn contract and get the f**k out of my office already?!" I said. He puts his hands up in surrender. "Fine Fine. Don't be such a wuss." He said and started reading the contract before signing it. A few minutes later after that good for nothing best friend of mine got loss Albert went inside the office with a worried face. "Sir, Mrs.Yuan is just inside the house whole day. Sierra tried knocking the door but she refused to open it." I furrowed my brows. "She refused to open the door?" I asked again. "Yes Sir. Sierra says that she does this everytime she doesn't feel so good. Either she has a cold or something." He explained. I rose on my sit and started to walk out, Albert was following from behind. "Cancel all my meetings later for tomorrow, Send all the papers that I needed to have to be reviewed on my laptop, I need to go home." I instructed him. He nods as he started to scribble something on a piece of paper. When we reach down the parking lot to my car he hands the paper to me. "This is a list of medicines in case your planning to buy it at a pharmacy sir." He says and just walked away. I put the paper inside my suit and went inside the car immediately and drove as fast as I could, I stopped at a pharmacy nearby and buyed the medicines Albert has written. Sierra was waiting for me at the living room, she was phasing back and forth. She insitantly lights up when she heard me. "Sir, I'm so sorry. I tried talking to her but she won't answer." "I'll take it from here Sierra, Can you prepare something to eat for her? I'll try talking to her first." I encourage her. She nods and walked out. Good thing, I always carry with me the keys to my room but before I opened the door I went to get a glass of water first. As I entered my room I saw her asleep in bed, covering her body with the comforter. I sitted beside her and touched her forehead. She stirred. "Y-Your here." "Why didn't you answer my calls?" I asked. She quickly looked around to find her phone. "I didn't heard my phone ring. I'm so sorry." "Are you okay?" She looks at me. "I-I just have a slight fever, that's all." She said looking down. I gave her the medicine and the water. "Drink this." I stood up and went inside my closet to get a clean cloth. "Next time don't lock yourself in a room when your not feeling well. Sierra was very worried." I added. After she finished drinking the meds I made her lay down in bed and put the wet cloth on her forehead. "How about you?" She asks. I look at her confused. "What about me?" "Are you worried too?" If only she knew how worried I was. I tried to calm myself. She needed to eat. "Have you eaten anything?" I change the subject. "Nope." She answered. "I'll get you something to eat." I said and when I was about to stand up she held my hand. "I'm sorry. Don't be mad." She says then instantly lets go and close her eyes. I continued to walk but before I close the door I spoke. "Yes I was so worried about you because I was scared, I thought you left me. Don't ever make me worry." "I won't. I promise." She answered. I did something I never expected I would. I smiled, For the first time.
