Clara made up her mind to tell her parents what happened and why she will would not be able to donate blood to her sister. She braced herself up for any insult or threats. She needed to clear her mind and that is what she is going to do. Fortunately enough, she met them all in the living room with Lydia laying her head on her mother's lap. Father barely goes to work because he has trustworthy people who work faithfully with him and for him. Mrs Wilson sat up abruptly when she saw, Clara. "You've made up your mind to help us, Clara?" "No mum, I just came here to let you know about something." "Can you imagine? I'm not interested in hearing if it's not about helping my daughter you ingrate." "Mum, it won't take up to minutes." "I don't want to hear, orphan. Leave my sight." Clara opened her mouth wide in surprise and shock, this was the first time she would call her that. Her heart all of a sudden began to hurt. It took a great toll on her. She turned back with the thoughts of returning to her room and crying her eyes out but was stopped by her father. "Clara, what do you have to say?" "Father...I'm pregnant." Silence took over the room as everyone looked on in amazement. Mrs Wilson broke it first. "What do you just say?" "I am pregnant. And that is the main reason why I cannot donate my blood to Lydia. I don't have a choice." Clara said as she broke down in tears. Mr Wilson looked at Clara not able to talk while Lydia smirked stylishly. "So this is what you are going to use to repay us you foolish girl? Pregnancy?" "Who is responsible, Clara?" Her father asked cooly. "I...I don't know Father." "What! You don't know? So you now sleep around? Seriously, right now, I'm actually questioning myself why we adopted you." "I'm sorry mum, I'm sorry dad.," Clara said as she fell on her knees helplessly. "I'm disappointed in you Clara." Her father said before walking away with Mrs Wilson following suit. At this point, Clara broke down completely. Her composure was all down. This was not what she planned. The tears kept falling profusely.in regret and pain. "You haven't seen anything. I just started with you." Lydia whispered to Clara causing her to look up at her shocked. "You know about this?" "Of course." "Why will you do this, Lydia? I thought we were cool." "You thought but I can never be cool with you. This is just a tip of an iceberg you're seeing, more to expect." Lydia concluded before walking out , pushing Clara to the ground. Clara smiled bitterly trying to gather her scattered thoughts together. Richard returned back to the office a shadow of himself with his thoughts all rumbled together. "What's wrong with boss?" "We are all in trouble today." "This mood..." The employees whispered among themselves as Richard walked in sluggishly. He couldn't even see his employees, his eyes were clouded with worry. He fell back into his sit in the office sighing aloud. Raymond rushed in with a worry-stricken. "Boss, you're not looking good at all." He observed. "I'm stuck?" "Stuck?" Raymond asked surprised at his response and because he attempted to reply him. "I told Father that i have a fiancee and he asked me to bring her to him in the next three days." Richard said as Raymond opened his mouth wide. His boss isn't someone who does what others asks. "You're really doing this boss?" "Yes! And it's because of my mother." At this point, Raymond understood what Richard was saying. Richard's head boomed, he all of a sudden hated himself for saying that which he doesn't have. If not for his mother, he has no business with the old geezer. He has to see his mother anyway. He rested his chest on the table but noticed that something was hard in that part. Dipping his hands to that direction, he brought out the metal! His brain clicked! That night! The event of that night flooded his thoughts making him pay more attention to his thoughts. The metal earring belongs to the lady he slept with. He smiled a little bit relieved. He brought out the earring putting it on his table. "Raymond, I need you to find out which family owns this earring." Raymond looked at Richard having the thoughts of him seeing the doctor for the first time. "Boss, what does a earring have to do with this situation?" "The lady I spent the night with at the pub that day, I don't know her and can not recognize her you know. But she left this behind." He said raising the earring up. "I will make enquiry regarding this boss." "Try your best to be as discreet as possible." Richard warned. Richard dropped the earring carefully with Raymond before urging him on. Subconsciously, a smile crept in Richad's face as he remembered the scent of that lady, her moans...argh, it's driving him crazy even with the fact that he has never set his eyes on her. Whoever owns the earring he concluded will be his wife. A medium to avoid the consistent pestering from his father and to avoid the endless number of girls lurking around him. He hopes he can settle all of it in three days so as to see his mother, distance himself from his father and meet whoever it was that he spent the night with in the hotel room.
