Simon is waiting for me in my office when I get there and I'm glad to know that he had nothing to do with any of this mess. I'm going to need his help over the next little while if I'm taking over as ruler of the empire. I still can't quite believe it's happening, or that any of today has really happened, but as I told Quinn, I'm ready for it, ready in a way I couldn't have imagined being only a month ago.
