As soon as Naya says that Quinn was meant to be my mate, I know it must be true. It simply makes sense. I've never felt a connection to anyone like I feel with her. Maybe it didn't happen in an instant, like it usually does with the mate bond, but it happened anyway. There was initial attraction, of course, as soon as I saw her, but it's something deeper than that too. Even before this revelation, I knew for sure that I want her in my life.
So when she confirms it, when she nods at me with that hopeful, happy look in her eyes, I can't help myself. I have to kiss her then, no matter who else is in the room, no matter that we're supposed to be having a work meeting. All that matters right now is that she doesn't doubt how I feel and that the idea of her as my destined mat
