~~Carter's PoV~~
It was the middle of the night before we finally fell asleep. It was like I couldn't get enough of Quinn; we just finished making love and I wanted to do it again. Luckily, for an Alpha wolf like me, that wasn't an issue. I could just start over again, and Quinn kept right up with me until finally we wore each other out, or the stress of the whole day did, and we fell asleep wrapped up in each other's arms.
It's only when I wake in the morning that I realize I still haven't told her one very important thing.
“Quinn?” I'm not sure if she's awake yet but she stirs immediately at the sound of her name.
“Yeah?”
Her mumbled, drowsy reply is the sweetest thing I've ever heard, and when she opens her eyes to look at me, the affection I see there fills me with warmth.
