I think there is not much time left for me. I am doomed to die today. If Someone has a grudge against me, they should directly aim for me. Why should they kill Jona and mom why... " Martha coughed few drops of blood". I hate it (Sobs) I want them back, mom ...... Jona.....
I didn't offend anyone in my life, I always lived a quiet life in my Orphanage even though I have been Mistreated many times by Clara, not once I have stood against her or complained about her. After Jona and Mom came into my life become a lot easier Jona always stood up for me whenever Clara bullied me and as for mom she is the kindest person ever, she even favoured me a lot than her own daughter after hearing my story. Every day after dinner she never forgets to feed me the medicine with her own hands. In that Orphanage when everyone treated me coldly, I can only find solace within them. But now I lost them............ if they didn't care about be me like everyone else will they be alive now.
Wish
"IF there is truly God please give me a second chance I beg you please I want revenge ...... I will never let them go. Even if I die now I will find the culprit and come back as a ghost to haunt them... God, please grant me a second chance this is my last wish........."
I closed my eyes it felt like I will never open them again. Perhaps I am already dead Mom and Jona I'm sorry, please forgive me I couldn't get revenge for you both. You both shouldn't have met me.
Morning
I heard a whisper "Wake up Martha" I was Startled by this voice and opened my eyes is this is the afterlife there is no way I am alive but why does this place look familiar it is just like my Orphanage. " Oh my, why I am in Clara's bed if she finds out it will be over" she would make a big fuss out of this and my hands are small too it's as if I have returned to being 14 years old.
This must be a dream maybe if a person dies they will just dream of their first memory but it's too real to be a dream I can feel the blanket.
(Suddenly) "Nah" on hearing the whisper again, I slowly turned to the right side of my bed. I was astonished to see a small ball of light fluttering before my eyes. I gathered up my courage and asked, "is it you" "yep" its reply sounded just like me.
"Who... who are you" the light replied straight away " your alter ego".
" What ........" I yelled, "well did you forget it" "what...." "your wish for a second chance" At that moment I realized now god has taken pity on me and granted my wish for a second chance. Thank you ( sobs) this time I will protect my loved ones but why I am back to being 14 years old I am 20 years old when I died, I still remember it vividly It was my 20th birthday. Jona and Mom were waiting for me here, in this same orphanage to celebrate my birthday but who knows it will be our last day of being alive (Sobs).
"Hey that's enough, now that you are alive stop crying if you keep on crying nothing is gonna change" The light spoke again this time the voice from the light is stern even though it again sounded like me. "yes that right now it's not the time to be crying but now that I am back what should I do ".
" Just a moment" after saying these words the light turned into my miniature " well I am your alter ego so I should be the same as you" "you and I are one I was created due to your strong will for revenge and I am here to guide you". That's right I still have more time Jona and Mom are still alive I will surely protect them this time.
" I will accept it gladly, please guide me well". After saying these words I realized the situation I am stuck in, now that I am back to being 14 years old which day is it?. "Ding Dong Ding Dog....." after hearing that sound my gaze slowly shifted to the wall I noticed the time on the clock its 6:00 P.M and Now I am in Clara's bed that means " I returned to my first day of Orphanage". It's the same as my past as I am so tired from the long journey I slept as soon as I entered the room. I shivered in fear at the thought of meeting Clara again. " Hey, why are so afraid, you are still timid as you used to be in the past" "Don't worry, now that I am here let me guide you".
"Do you remember the time when they entered this room?" " I remember it must be 6:30 P.M because when I left the room after the quarrel with Clara, Mrs Vera noticed me and yelled at me that it is 7:00 P.M and I should never roam carelessly". We must be Quarreling for at least 30 minutes, now it's 6:00 P.M they must be here soon. "Ms alter ego what should we do" " you don't need to address me formally" " Then How should I call you" "How about you give me a name" " Then How about Mir I think it suits you" "whatever" " ok then from now on I will address you as Mir".
Mir what should we do now they will be here soon. "Don't worry we still have time, for now, we should go out and wait for them to enter first".
