Hazel got back home and went through the back door leading to the kitchen. She doesn't want anyone to know that she just came into the house. She entered the kitchen and tiptoed into the main house.
"And where do you think you are going?" Jennifer asked, and Hazel froze. Hazel clenched her fist as she didn't know what to do now. It's going to be a long day.
"Mom!" Jennifer yelled and Laura came out and joined her daughter in the sitting room.
"Sweetheart, what's the problem?" Laura asked Jennifer.
"I caught her tiptoeing into the house, she didn't come home last night," Jennifer said with her hands on her chest. While Hazel just stood there with her head low. She was trembling down to her legs, she knew what her stepmother was capable of doing.
"Is that so? I can see you have grown wings, and you think you can do as you please right?" Laura said, walking majestically to where Hazel was standing. She then lifted her hands, but Laura stopped herself.
Hazel felt the tears gathered in her eyes, and her hands immediately became sweaty. She had thought she was going to punish her like the previous times.
She tried not to cry, she tried her best to keep her tears in check. But the tears still flowed.
"Oh stop trying to form a pity party here, no one will come and save you anyway. Where are you coming from?" Laura asked.
"She probably followed a boy home mom, see how scattered her hair is," Jennifer said and Hazel felt anxious. She tried not to show it but, she couldn't help it.
"Is that true? You are already sleeping around, I know you will end up like your mother." Laura said and laughed wickedly. Jennifer joined her and they both mocked Hazel mercilessly.
"I slept off at work last night," Hazel lied, they always taunt her by mentioning her mother's name all the time. She just wants to leave this place.
"Whatever, who cares? You are grounded for one month. You will only get to eat once a day, and you will have to do double chores. Disobey me, and I will skin you alive." Laura said to her with a smirk on her face. Jennifer giggled happily, she liked it when her mother punished her sister like this. She likes seeing Hazel so miserable, that Hazel can no longer take it. She ran up to her room in tears, she could hear the mother and daughter laughing after her.
Hazel got to her room and slumped to the floor. She's tired of the way she's being treated here, ever since her mother died twelve years ago. Life has been miserable for her and there's nowhere for her to go.
Hazel held her chest to her knee as she cried out her heart. She can't help but feel miserable, after some minutes of crying. Hazel picks herself up, if she doesn't do as Laura says. She will be severely punished even more.
Hazel touched her neck and her eyes widened with shock.
"My necklace!" She muttered silently, she must have lost the necklace last night at the club. That's the only thing she has left of her mother.
"Mom gave that to me, it was the last birthday gift she gave me. How could I have lost it?" She cried out and felt so sad.
"I will have to find it but, how will I do that when I'm not even allowed to leave this house for a month?" Hazel asked herself. She will figure something out.

Back in the hotel suite.
Alexander looked at himself in the mirror and smiled. He's the most handsome man alive, and not even anyone comes close. He had been waiting for Dennis for hours now, and he decided to admire himself a little bit.
He looked into the mirror a bit and his eyes caught something. He turned and his eyes fell on something on the floor. Alexander picked it up and it turned out to be a necklace.
"It must belong to the girl," Alexander said and held it in his palm. He couldn't stop looking at it, as he was drawn to it. He drew his nose closer and he was encapsulated in the smell.
"She smells wonderful," Alexander said as he closed his eyes imagining what the girl must look like.
"Mr president!" Dennis said with his head bowed as he interrupted him. Alexander felt a little bit embarrassed and quickly stood up. He can't be caught fantasizing about a girl. Girls drool over him and not the other way around.
"You were supposed to knock," Alexander said.
"I'm sorry Mr President, the door to the room was open," Dennis said.
"Whatever, and where in the world have you been? I had to clean my shoe myself, that's what I was doing when you came in." Alexander said with a serious expression.
“Uh?" Dennis was surprised, he knew that was the most impossible thing in the world. Alexander Norway will never do anything by himself. But who is he to argue with him?
"I'm so sorry Mr president, that will never happen again," Dennis said.
"What do you want?" Alexander asked him.
"I found the girl," Dennis said.
"You did?" He was shocked, he wasn't expecting it to be this fast.
"Yes Mr President, I have her address. I'm going there now. You can come with me if you want Mr. President?" Dennis said. Alexander didn't say anything for a while. If he must be truthful, he does feel like seeing the girl. He's just curious to know who she is, nothing more.
"Let's just go see who she is," Alexander said, pretending not to care. He then stepped out with Dennis following after him.

Back in the Nathaway mansion, Jennifer can hear the sound of the door being knocked upon.
"One of you got the door already," Jennifer yelled and one of the maids came running. Someone is at the door and Miss Jennifer can decide to fire them if they don't answer in time.
"Who is that?" Jennifer asked but there was no response. She was curious to know who the person was so she stood up to see for herself.
"Mom!" Jennifer called out excitedly as soon as she saw the person by the door. Laura wondered what was keeping both her maid and her daughter quiet. She walked to the door to see for herself.
"Oh my goodness Mr Norway!" Laura exclaimed, almost passing out. She can't believe the wealthiest man in the country is right here in front of her door.
"I'm sorry, please come inside the house. I'm sorry that our house is not fit enough for someone like you." Laura said.
"Hmmm!" Alexander simply said.
"You! Have the best wine brought out from the wine cellar right now!" Laura said to the maid and she quickly ran off. Jennifer couldn't keep her composure no matter how much she tried. She kept smiling hoping Alexander would notice her.
Alexander however looked around for the girl, he didn't recognise her. But none of the women he has seen so far has the same smell as the one from the necklace.
Alexander brought out the necklace and showed it to Laura.
"Who owns this necklace?" Alexander asked authoritatively.
