(April’s POV)
After feeding the twins and putting them down for their nap, I headed down to the library to wait for Doug and get some work done. On my way there, I bumped into Dani, and she walked with me. “Hey. I was just heading to the library myself. Ken said he’d meet us there.” She told me as she came alongside me.
I smiled. I know Ken doesn’t always make it to our little research parties, so it would be nice to have him there for a change. “How are you settling into mated life?” I asked when I noticed her mark peeking from the neckline of her shirt.
“I can honestly say I’ve never been this happy in my entire life. Ken is so sweet and attentive, he lets me take things at my own pace and doesn’t try to hurry me along. Plus, I get to cook whatever I want, whenever I want, all I want,
