(April’s POV)
“Okay, change of plans for today, gang. Anyone interested in taking an outing with me, meet me out in front of the packhouse in twenty minutes. We'll be gone most of the day, so inform anyone you need to that we won't be around for lunch or dinner.” I said as I turned and walked away, leaving them all behind.
As I was walking away I heard Roman shout, “H*ll yeah! I’m in!” He sounded thoroughly excited, and I almost laughed until I heard Cindy asking, “Can I come along, too?” I was so happy when Alex answered, “Of course you can, Cin. Just promise to stick close to us, okay?”
“I will, Alpha! Thank you!” She answered back in a soft squeal. It’s been really nice having her around again. And Roman has been absolutely great since everything got sorted.
