(April’s POV)
When we got to Berkeley Springs we had a hard time finding someplace to park. Four large cars like our SUV's aren’t exactly easy to keep clustered together under normal circumstances. When you add to that the fact that this particular part of town was one of their busiest areas, it was next to impossible.
We finally opted to park in a lot, paying the fee for the entire day. I was actually excited about seeing Carter again. It’s been years now. The last time I saw him he was heading to Europe with a nice blonde-haired lady named Celeste.
I haven’t heard Benji mention her over the past five years, so I’m as*uming that didn’t work out, but we’ll see. Maybe I can talk him into a visit. I know Dad would like to see him too.
