(April’s POV)
“Okay, Cuz. I’m done.” I said, making Ro pout as he let me pull him up from the ground where he’d landed after my round-house to his midsection. As he gained his feet he clutched his belly and grumped, “But we’ve only been training for like twenty minutes.”
I laughed at him as I said, “Yes, and you’ve spent most of that time on your as*. Come on. It’s hot and I wanna go swimming.”
I didn’t wanna tell him that my stomach has been queasy since lunch. Those cheese steaks were just too greasy on an empty stomach like that. But man-oh-man was it good, especially since it was paired with a but*load of cheese fries.
“Fine. I guess it is a bit hot out here. Think the twins are up from their nap yet?” He asked hopefully and I laughed. He was such a big kid.
